Damaged after 3 uses

purchased SAMSONITE FIERO 28" last year and used only 3 times. My luggage was damaged (a big crack in the body) after returning from a trip to Hong Kong. (z. I brought it to the repair SAMSONITE 's repair center. I was told that the warranty coverage for the repair and the reason was the warranty doesn't cover any cracks. The whole experience of getting in touch customer service, dealing with the repair and finally got denied to repair my luggage were very frustrated. the 10 years warranty looks very attractive when you are buying it but it turns out that doesn't cover quite a lot of issues. The quality of my luggage is very unsatisfactory. This is my first time and last time of buying SAMSONITE.
Pros: Easy To Carry, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I took this suitcase on my business trips and it travels really well. I love the rollers/wheels as they are so smooth and frictionless in the airports, but also on carpet in the hotel and cement on the street. It's got plenty of room and looks great. It got knicks, scratches and marks on my very first business trip with it, but that's to be expected from airport baggage handling. Even with a few blemishes, this suitcase still looks stylish and new.

I saw this suitcase online & thought it looked great! After returning from a Mediterranean Cruise & using a 2 wheeled suitcase that was difficult to lug around, this suitcase looked amazing! I haven't taken it on a trip yet, but I tried moving it on our carpet & it moved so smoothly!

I used it the first time, and it is broken on the flight! I understand it might be caused by the airline. But I travelled a lot, and it is the first time to me. Even though, the quality of the luggage is poor! What the worse is that when I talked to the Samsonite customer service, the told me "We appreciate that you have brought this to our attention. If your item was damaged by the airline, they are responsible for the repairs/replacement of the item. We hope that this information helps you." That's it?! They don't apologize their poor product, nor trying to resolve the problem, just kicking the ball to others. I admitted I didn't contact the airline right away, and it was too late to file the damage with them. But Samsonite should be responsible for it! After all, it happened the first time I used their product!

Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily
