This is a HUGE suitcase. Bigger than I thought it was. Since I always seem to have a carry on this should avoid that from happening. I bought the ocean blue. Beautiful color. This will definitely stand out from all the other black bags. The shell is not as hard as I thought it would be though that's why I gave it 4 stars. We all know how the baggage handlers just throw them all around. I'd imagine this will stand up to that. I love the idea of being able to zip up one side. I often pack too soon and change my mind constantly so I always end up adding or taking out items. Being able to open it and not have everything fall all over the place is great. I put my clothes on the side that zips closed and the rest on the other side. I should probably do it the other way around since it does have the straps to hold them in place, but all the "little things" will fall to the bottom anyway and I'd have to rearrange them again, so at least my clothes will be in one place and intact. So I am very happy with my purchase.
