Great for big batch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It can really power through yeast dough and whips like crazy however it struggles with small batches (1-2 loaves) of yeast dough. That is the only drawback.

Bosch Kitchen Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it for itself. However, when comparing it to the older model, I don't feel like it is as powerful. Having said, this there are several options that I love that come with the newer machine that didn't come with the older one. I am torn between which one I like best. For the blender attachment, I am truly missing the blender on the older model. My blender bowl gave out and they no longer make a replacement so I was forced to buy the newer model. I just feel like I have to blend longer in order to achieve results close to what I got with the older model. Please make the replacement blender bowl again for the older model and I will be so happy!

It's a beast!

I recently added the Universal Bosch for my bakery business and it's a beast for handling large quantities of dough. It too produces consistent beautiful bread. I am more than happy with the mixers, Bosch will not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my Bosch mixer to make cookies and sourdough bread so far. I replaced a stand mixer with this unit and I am exrteremely pleased with its physical weight and operating convenience. It is much easier to get down from the shelf in my pantry and easier to add products to the bowl while making something. It is a little more difficult to remove a sticky bread dough from the bowl but that is a small price to pay. I look forward to using this mixer for mashed potatoes and more.

Mixed Feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this machine and used it the first time last night. Used it to make a large batch of cookies.. What I love is the powerful motor - it creamed butter and sugar really quickly. After having read reviews I knew I should use the bowl scrapers. Which leads to my first complaint. They are light plastic and seem pretty flimsy - it was very difficult to get the bowl scraper attachment onto the metal drive I used with the cookie paddles. Once that was done they did the job and kept the butter mixture mixed in off of the sides and the column pretty well. As per other reviews once it was time to add the flour I switched to the dough hook because I didn't want to take the risk of breaking the paddles or the drive with the large batch of cookies I was making. Which leads to my second complaint. For a machine at this price and with this powerful motor that should not be that way. The cookie paddles and the drive should be able to handle anything put in that big bowl! Also why is everying just "metal" that will tarnish when washed in the dishwasher. Having to use extra attachments that have to be washed by hand and dried right away kind of defeats the purpose of having a big machine to make multiple batches of cookies to save time. Also the dough hook didn't seem to incorporate the ingredients (oats, nuts and raisins) evenly like I thought it would. I had to turn it up to a higher level and run longer than it did in my KA. And then mix with a wooden spoon after removing the dough hook. Maybe the dough hook extender would help with this - but again that is a flimsy plastic attachement I am not sure how long will hold up. I gave this 4 starts because of the powerful motor and the big open bowl and the suction cups to hold it steady. If not for the cheap attachements and tarished metal pieces it would have been a 5.
