Best Mixer for Large when making Large Batches

First, we are a family of 7 and only cook things in bulk (an average batch of bread for me is 6 lbs). I make bread 5 days a week on average. I have had other popular mixers and nothing kneads and handles with ease this amount of dough like this Bosch Universal. The smallest batch I have made is Zucchini Bread and that was still 3 lbs.
I studied for days various reviews from professional sites and individuals on this site and others who sell the item. I consistently found that those who want to make something small (1 lb loaf of bread for example) did not love this mixer. Almost every 1 or 2 star rating out there referenced small batches. The opposite was true for those who made a lot of cookies, bread, or other items at a time they loved this mixer. This was perfect for my needs, and while I have not tried the smaller qty nor do I plan too, it is doing a great job with larger batches that we require in my household.
I was impressed with how well it kneads bread dough. I instantly noticed the dough developed much quicker and more consistently then it did in my previous mixer.
I also love that I can replace any little part on the machine if it breaks. However, the number of parts and the fact that so many are plastic makes me wonder a little about how often I will have to replace them.
My main issue or complaint is cleaning (keeping it from 5 stars). There are so many parts to keep track of and so many places for food to hide that it takes twice as long to clean and twice the space to store.

Only one that I see, It is not as easy to clean up as other popular mixers. More parts more nooks and crannies.
A lot of plastic and it just feels inferior.
While a workhorse, it is a bit of an eye sore.

Best Kitchen Appliance I own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned my kitchenaid mixer and all the toys it came with, and traded it in for this beautiful UFO shaped beauty. I knead whole batches of bread dough in under 2 minutes and never even have to flex a muscle to see it work. I couldn't be happier.

Not a great design

Trying to cram too much into one machine, design is lacking.
If blender spills over, liquid gets into motor and bearings, or at least all over inside machine. This happened over 5 years of use, motor made terrible noises, then ceased. I opened it up to find dried spillage and blown main bearing. Not as easily serviceable as other machine I have fixed.
Cannot clean machine well in places. Crud in some nooks and crannys, corrosion as a result.
Weak mixing paddles.

35 Years and I still love my Bosch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Bosch for over 35 years. I bought it used from a friend who used it pretty much daily. She baked homemade bread 3 x a week and so it's first 2 years were very well used. I have had no problems with it ever. I need to replace the blender lid, but other than that it continues to perform. I use it for everything, from mixing frosting for decorating cakes, homemade breads and rolls, meatballs, cookies, absolutely everything. I would never consider another machine ever.

Dream Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch machines run in our family. My mother used one with 8 children, and this is how I learned to cook. She gave me one when I got married. I taught/am teaching my own children how to cook with a Bosch. When my oldest daughter got married last year, I knew I had to giver her one to continue this MUST HAVE appliance in her own kitchen!! My MIL gave me another brand of mixer (the K brand) and she raved about it. I tried it once and NEVER went back! It was just taking up space, so I just gave it away, all the while raving about having a Bosch. It's that good!!

Study workhorse for bread making

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an amateur Artisan bread baker. This machine is amazing for kneading bread, particularly large amount--I made as much as 10 stollens at one time. Gluten development happens very quickly, compared to other household mixers such as the Kitchen Aid. The only thing is that it is not good for hydration dough, although to be fair, not too many household mixers are good with it. It isn't as pretty as the some of the available mixer. Overall, I am very please with it.

Compact.. Mixes thoroughly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about in May 2016 at Costco and returned the Kitchen Aid mixer 6 qts.. I bought from them in December 2015.
It mixes the ingredients thoroughly. The only draw back is the top lid/window of the cover is very loose. It does not seem to lock in place.

High powered mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer following the end of the line for my Viking Pro ( no longer made) and I am extremely pleased with its power and performance. I make sourdough bread rather frequently and the Bosch handles 1000 grams of flour very comfortably. It is easy to clean and the design is so contemporary.
