I received a Sodastream as a Christmas gift this year, and the main reason I asked for it was so I could cut out Diet Cokes. I was excited to make my first diet cola as soon as I opened it, and was I disappointed! It tasted like generic off-brand diet cola. It was disgusting! My son took one sip, and down the drain it went.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the reasons I purchased the soda stream was to make diet cola. This mix just tastes bad. Will have to try an alternative.

I've grown to really like the Diet Cola, but only when it's mixed with another flavor. My favorite was the Diet Cola with Lime, which by itself was too much lime. I'm very sad that they discontinued that one. I'm mixing it with Diet Lemon Lime now, which is ok, but just isn't the same.
