Very disappointed this replaced Fountain Style

We were faithful purchasers of the "Fountain Style" Diet Cola. It's taste was delicious and very similar to the fountain drinks that you get at restaurants. Last time I ordered it Soda Stream sent me this "Original Formula" instead without any explanation. It's a poor substitute and has an offensive sour aftertaste. Very disappointing. My only criticism of SodaStream has always been that they are continually reformulating flavors, discontinuing old ones, and introducing new ones in the hope that people will like the new ones. My suggestion is that they stop doing this. Just provide a wide variety of flavors and leave it at that. It's ok to make new flavors, but don't get rid of the existing ones. Customers have already chosen the flavors they love and will keep buying them, given that they remain available. Please stop discontinuing flavors. Many of us love them and when they're gone, so are we!

I've had soda stream for quite awhile - I have one of the first models made, and it's still going strong with daily use! Diet Cola is by far my favorite flavor. It tastes different than that "other" diet cola, but it's good in a different way. I like the fact that it doesn't have aspartame.

Horrible after-taste

A step backwards

I was very happy with the Fountain Style diet cola... this is truly a step backwards. I can 'tolerate' it... but really wish I had the option to buy the other version.

I started using Soda Stream about a year ago. I have always drank Diet Coke the price started going up and I wanted to try this product. My daughter gave me one as a gift and I have been making my own soda since. My soda is easy to make and I will use it from now on.
