Sounds are indescribable!

The sounds coming from our new Frigidaire refrigerator are beyond describing....there are knocks, growls, sizzling, and sounds galore. Never heard such sounds from an appliance.

JoyBo, I appreciate your sharing your recent refrigerator experience. Some of the sounds you’ve been hearing are part of your appliance’s normal function. For example the popping sound you are hearing may be coming from the defrost heater. During defrost cycles, water dripping onto the defrost heater may cause a hissing or sizzling sound after defrosting, then a popping sound may occur. Page 19 in your Owner’s Manual addresses the normal sights and sounds your refrigerator may demonstrate. Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fridge for 9 months now, within the first month it was leaking water onto the top shelf in the fridge and the seal to the freezer door leaks. Had both issues serviced and the problem still remains. Can't set much on the top shelf because it will get wet. I do like the lights in the freezer when I open the door.

Some Issues

I bought this refrigerator two months ago and already have had to call for Repair because ice was forming and dripping in the freezer. The first repair person couldn't determine the cause. A second repair person had to be sent who then addressed the problem. Now I am having an issue with the light inside the main part of the refrigerator -- it flickers sporadically. Not happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a year ago and I'm not completely satisfied. the freezer doesnt freeze completely- it keeps things cold but not frozen, had someone come look at it and it's still not freezing.

Quality/service issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the refrigerator, stove and dishwasher in April for Late Sept delivery when my remodeling was complete. First refrig was defective - light did not work and there was too much insulation blown in so that the shelves would not slide in and out. After two service calls and lengthy review it was replaced. New one delivered with a big dent in door. After another review and delay, the door was replaced. As an FYI the lock on the dishwasher was also defective and had to be replaced. Very disappointing experience with Frigidaire.
