Works Well

I bought this fridge when my old one bit the dust. It does what a fridge is designed to do - it keeps food cold in the main compartment and keeps food frozen in the freezer. A bit of frost develops at the door seal of the freezer and it runs a bit loud at times - at least that's what my friends say. My old fridge sounded the same way and it lasted 17 years so... I'm told this one won't last as long but for now it is working just fine and that makes me happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good interior design but...

Inside the Frigidaire features thoughtful and convenient design with an attractive stainless steel exterior. For example, the removable door-shelves are a great feature and one of the reasons I bought the fridge.
However, ice began forming near the area where the door's rubber gasket meets the metal frame. Thankfully I had purchased an extended service warranty from the retailer and their service technician quickly diagnosed an issue with the rubber gasket and gaps in the frame. He sealed the area with silicone which resolved most of the ice issue.

Good Choice

I'm pleased with the Consumer Reports rating of this refrigerator and so far, it has lived up to the rating. I've got a small condo and it fits neatly into a tight spot, yet provides enough space. I especially like the large easily-visible meat/cheese drawer that spans the whole width of the fridge and the lighted freezer space.

Well built and good size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced our 18 + year old fridge and really like the looks and how well this new fridge works. Only drawback is it does make several noises when it recycles so that might take awhile to get use to. Overall good product though.

Smudge proof stainless steel, LED lighting (even in freezer), flexible shelving.
The fridge noise can be noticeable at times - a high pitched drone, but can be gotten used to, especially if you have a TV or other noises in the vicinity.

Cools fast and has independent temperature controls for fridge and freezer. I needed a counter-depth fridge and this one is one of the shallowest non-counter-depth models out there and has most modern features for a great price. Best bang for buck in my opinion.

OK, but noisy

Works ok, looks good, fits the narrow space we had available; however, the fridge is much noisier than expected. It makes all sorts of clanks and gurgles, and the compressor noise intrudes on tv enjoyment in the adjoining family room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
