Somewhat disappointing

We bought this fridge to replace a 10-15 year-old one, and were disappointed. The shelves are not as adjustable as we would like, so things don't quite fit comfortably in both the fridge and freezer sections. The temperature controls are difficult to get to, particularly in the freezer. The freezer door doesn't shut well--I have to push it firmly to get a good seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fingerprint Free & Roomy!!

Purchased in the last 6 months & have seen a decline in my electric bill. I only need to wipe the exterior once a week compared to 2x per day with my old stainless steel fridge. Also, this fridge is the same exterior measurement as my old one but holds sooo much more!!!

Very noisy.

I expected better out of Frigidaire. Everything I've read about Frigidaire led me to expect a well designed, well built, nicely engineered refrigerator. It looks nice, cools well, and has some innovative storage, but it is all outweighed by the noise. If you have a home with plenty of ambient noise (people, chatter, TV, radio, pets, etc), you may not notice it. In a quiet home, it is extremely noticeable and I would describe the noise as "excessive". I have had it checked by a technician, and I have gone to three stores to see if the floor models are this noisy, and all of the results indicates that this is normal for this model. It is functioning exactly as it is supposed to operate. It makes a number of obtrusive noises, but the worst are the hum/vibration from the compressor/motor and a very annoying whine whenever it is running. I will be researching refrigerators for quieter models and intend to replace my brand new Frigidaire as soon as possible. I'm massively disappointed in Frigidaire for turning out such a piece of humming-buzzing-whining-clattering-clicking-clunking junk.

Nice and big and cold

I'm really happy with my fridge. I looked at several reviews and rating websites before making my decision and I'm glad I chose the Frigidaire. It has lots of space, is well lit, stays cold and the door chime is a blessing when you live with boys. The only downer is the door handle get smudgy every time someone touches it. I'm learning not to look at it..sigh

Not a happy camper

bought 07/07/2016, delivered 07/13/2016. 2 days later a big water puddle appeared between new fridge and our dishwasher. Figuring the fridge was new, water must be coming from dishwasher. Removed dishwasher but no water visible anywhere. Turned out water accumulated in bottom of fridge and then overflowed onto wooden floor. Called factory who told me to call local repairman. He showed up, removed and repositioned a part to route water into the drainpipe. That wasn't physically possible because the part in the fridge was not properly designed and could not be positioned to divert the water. So the technician caulked the pipe hoping it would work. It didn't and we have been removing between 3 and 8 ounces every 2 days since we first had the water puddle a week or so after we received the fridge. The technician called us a few days ago telling us that a part or parts are being sent to rectify the problem. That seems indicative that there is a design error if replacement parts are already being made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
