Love it!

I was in need of a replacement for my old Dell Latitude laptop. I researched my choices and for the dollars spent this notebook is a fantastic value. I am not a gamer but I do plenty of surfing, downloading, video, digital pics, movies and this laptop is very fast and looks great. I have not had an issues with the touchpad as others have written. Do not hesitate to get one if you can.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, fast
Cons: none to speak of
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid Performing Laptop with Great Battery Life

I have been using this laptop for the past semester and its been solid. Battery life is close to 4 1/2 hours when watching netflix and about 7 hours when browsing the web with some Youtube Videos. This laptop is a little larger than regular 14in laptops and it weighs a good deal more than some competing laptops in its field. The keyboard is very good and the touchpad is pretty good once you get use to it. The screen is pretty bright and brighter than some other laptops in its class.
I wish the laptop came with a backlit keyboard and have an option for a matte screen. The gloss screeen is pretty good, but it throws a lot of reflection back when there are bright objects behind the person.

I've only had this computer for so long, but I love it.
It does evertything it needs to, how I want it to do it.
Quality of display is great, compared to other laptops I've had in the past.
The looks of it compares to none other, feels amazing.
It's light, compact and overall, just good.
Wish it came with built-in bluetooth, but that's not a NEED.
I would definitely reccomend this to someone on the market looking for a "cheap," well-built, great display, good quality laptop.
It does evertything it needs to, how I want it to do it.

Display has some issues

I love the laptop's size, speed, battery life, and portability but the display has issues. Half the screen goes black every time it powers on. I'm sending it back for a fix.
Pros: long battery life, speed

My first love affair with a computer!

This laptop has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The battery lasts forever, the sound of the speakers is perfect for everyday use (watching movies, music), the keyboard is amazing, and I haven't had a single problem with the trackpad after almost a year with this computer, even though I was concerned after reading some reviews. I was looking for a mac-looking computer but without the mac price. The QX411 was my answer. It's so thin and the brushed aluminum is miles nicer looking and feeling than its similarly priced counterparts. I would be perfectly happy if this was the last computer I'd ever own, but when it is time for a new one, I'll likely be purchasing another Samsung.

Great little laptop. Fast enough to play games. Light. I did a lot of research and in this niche, this computer excels. A good choice if you are looking for a low cost gaming machine.
