One of these brackets was purchased to mount a center speakers above a TV. Bose included all the hardware to mount this easily adjustable bracket including plastic anchors for masonry walls, screws for wood stud mounting and "butterfly" toggle mounting on gypsum (drywall) walls when hitting the stud isn't possible.
A small metal, rectangular backing plate with four mounting holes is provided to mount the small, but heavy speakers. The bracket, like Bose speakers, is high quality and includes a couple of adapter pieces to accommodate vertical or horizontal speakers.
There is also provided an adapter piece that snaps onto the back of the speaker. This pieces allows you to fully mount the metal plate and set the vertical and horizontal angle of the bracket without you needing to support the weight of the speaker while tightening the single adjustment screw.
Before mounting the speaker, a small decorative piece covers the backing plate. There is even thought given to routing the speaker wire through the bracket and into the speaker with small notches and a hole through which you use the Bose style speaker-wire termination plug.
Picture instructions are provided for the numerous styles of vertical and horizontal Bose center, front and surround speakers speakers.
Of note, the butterfly toggles provided require 1/2" holes. I would guess most home owners/DIY folks have 3/8" cordless or corded drills. This makes it necessary to carefully enlarge the holes in the gypsum just the tiniest bit to insert the toggles. However the screws provided with the toggle are long enough to adjust for 1/2" or 5/8" thick gypsum and perhaps even thicker plaster installations. Keep in mind this bracket is intended for use with Bose speakers and cannot, or at least not easily, be used with non Bose speakers.
When complete, the speaker mount is professional looking, matching Bose speakers.

I bought these about 6 months ago. I used the accordion screws and now i need to move, remove the screws, and some of them won't come out. Also I am having a hard time finding replacements for them.

Bose Bracket bends the Speaker wire at 90 deg

Asthetically i am very happy with the wall brackets design I bought Acoustimas 10 Ser.V speakers and Bracket UB-20 Series-II. As per instruction while fixing we found that the Speaker wire is getting bend to 90 deg twice, the cutout/ Slot is made at wrong place. believe me it hurted me lot after paying so much for Bracket. i request Bose to provide us justification why is it so?and speakers wire will not break. believe me for 1 week i am just thinking to bend wire or not?hence i am not able to install upon bose confirmation only i will install.
in the cost of Bose Bracket there are other companies which provide the Speakers also and after paying so much of Cost if we get the Improper Item then it is not good.
Bose to intervene the Design for Slots location and avoid Speaker wires bending
i am very very big fan of Bose but got upset and unhappy due to this hence i am writing

Not a good fit for Acoustimass 6 series 5 speakers

I got these brackets on 12-6-15. Bose in their attempt to use one set of brackets for 5 different speaker lines, has failed. Due to the way the speaker cable plugs into the back of the Series 5 speakers, the cable gets crimped severely by the metal mounting plate. I am worried that over time the wire will break. There is also a shorter screw (provided) that you need to use, to properly mount the bracket, but the directions do not make that clear. It caused me undo frustration until realized what needed to be done, and switched the screws out.

A contractor installed on my ceiling. I want to move it but can't figure out how to remove it and don't want to break it. Installation instructions should be on line with pictures.

This is an older speaker system part so I was very glad that it was still available and reasonably priced.
