The bracket to be optimizef

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Acustimass 5 speaker with pair of ub20. Bracket q of material and finish is very good, but the previous reviews helped me to sole the cable bending problem. I reworked the bracket on the metal plate (see attached photos). I milled 6mm line from the oval hole for connector entrace till the geometrical middle of the bracket plate. Problem solved. Recomend to Bose ingineers to inprove this detail.

Not Compatible with Acustimass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT purchase these with the Acustimass 6 Series V as they are not compatible. The brackets crush the wire and input to the point of damaging it. Look at the photos in other reviews as they are accurate. There is NO alternative for these speakers online from what I can find. What a bummer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have read the reviews before purchasing these brackets. These brackets are NOT COMPATIBLE with the Acoustimass 10 series V. With ALL of these reviews I do not understand why Bose have not fixed this issue yet. This purchase was made on 05/07/2018.

UB-20 series mounts upside down on Cube Speakers

According to the site the UB-20 Series II wall bracket is the correct bracket to mount the Cube Surround Speakers that I bought with the 500 Soundbar. However the UB-20 speaker mounting bracket clamps onto the back of the speaker upside down. The speaker wire hole is not accessible. Is the UB-20 the wrong bracket?

Single point of failure

I have these in use for my surround system. While on the whole, the brackets seem fine, there is a big design or production flaw. The part that actually clamps onto the post on the speaker should be made of steel. I have had multiple speakers now that have fallen off the wall after I went to adjust them. This one part breaks easily I guess. These are not light speakers, so more work should be done to design the part for strength.

The power cable for the speaker have to be bent 90 degrees twice, because the backing plate has the hole for cables in the wrong place.
