I'm loving this tab, I have a few problems with screen responsiveness but other than that perfect
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fewbugs

I bought my Galaxy to make my life easier as a returning college student. I thought I did my research and was very excited to finally commit and invest in my education. It took A LOT of searching to locate and then properly identify the correct manual online. I cant figure out how to copy and paste while in my professors discussion boards. The advertising claimed it came with Polaris office PPT, excel, and word. My surprise I find quick office 97-2003 version, I cant download my professors docx or ppt files. I was told that this was the one to get that it supported school and business and not just games and movies. I dont have time for games and movies I need help. Please someone tell me how do I get this to function before I am force to return for a refund.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, very frustrating, deceptive advertising

Yes that's right I am addicted to Samsung...my husband has a Intensity II cell phone...I have the brand new Samsung Galaxy Nexus cell...I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" and just registered my new upgraded Galaxy Tab 10.1...oh and if that is not enough, I have a new 46" 3D, HD/LED SMART WEB TV and the Samsung 3D Blu ray player. Convinced yet? The best part is that all these products communicate with each other in one way or another!!!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, attractive, hand-held convenience
Cons: not one!

I had a Motorola xoom when it was released, and an issue with verizon caused me to sell it. I loved the honeycomb/android combo, though, and when I sold out and got an Ipad 2, I missed honeycomb. I went and bought the galaxy tab 10.1 and ive been using it for a week now.
Bottom line is that the os is buggy, but very well designed. One very poor app is the built-in browser. The design itself is actually pretty good, but there are several issues I've run into performance-wise that are quite annoying. First, the browser randomly shuts down, killing all work in all open tabs in the process. Second, at times when encountering a drop down list, if it's an extensive enough list, the browser will freeze as you scroll, and then perform annoying step number 1 (shutting down). Ive tried a few of the browsers in the market, but they all use wap pages, which drives me up a wall.
I've used both android and Ipad, and I tend to prefer android. I'm mostly an email/web surf/business user, so the disadvantage in the app store doesn't matter much to me; it has everything I need.
This is a pretty good tablet, and assuming that honeycomb will be updated somewhat regularly and that developers will continue to make apps for android, this will be a fantastic choice for most.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, easy to use
Cons: browser is buggy

A True Android Experience

So far I've had a great experience with my Tab. I've used it with almost every video, mp3, and app that I had. While it was easy to pick up and use from the get-go, it still has tons of customizability and features for the hardcore Android user. It's size is just perfect in either portrait or landscape. I picked up typing on the keyboard within the first 10 minutes of use, and now I enjoy it quite a lot.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, fast and snappy, great compatibility with different formats, long battery life
Cons: stock ran out everywhere, accessories a little pricey

I knew I wanted a tab but wasn't sure if I should get this or the ipad 2. After trying this at the store I knew what to get automatically! The Samsung galaxy tab gives you that speed that you want and its so lightweight that it makes the ipad heavy. This tab has great features that the ipad lacks like flash and with android 3.1, you get the most out of this tab! Highly recommend this tab to anyone who is willing to try this tab over the ipad!
