Have had several Tablets. We also currently have an iPad2, and the Galaxy Tab is lighter, faster, and with the Android Market, far superior to the iPad2. The day before I purchased the Galaxy, I purchased a Toshiba Thrive....BIG mistake. Took it back and purchased the Galaxy. Screen is brighter, colors more defined...Only thing I would like to see improved is the Sound on the Galaxy. It's ok, but not as good as the Thrive or iPad 2. I would rate this a 9/10 and if sound quality improved, a solid 10. This is why I rated performance a 4 instead of a 5. Thanks for a great product.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: sound not as good as other tablets

Samsung Does it Again! Great Tab!

This tablet is amazing! The only flaw is the lack of a micro SD card slot on the Tablet itself but you can get a full SD card slot with the keyboard accessory(sold separately).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, screen size
Cons: no sd or microsd card slot
I would recommend this to a friend!

This tablet is amazing! Its sleek design, and weight make it perfect to take any where. The Android OS is a very powerful OS giving this tablet a wide verity of applications. I highly recommend this tablet to anyone!

Ipad2, be afraid, be very afraid!

The Tab 10.1 tablet is a wonder! It beats the ipad(1 or 2) hands dow with its HD SCREEN and ability to run flash! The battery life is excellent also, right up there with apple's claimed ten hour of video, (even with EVIL, BATTERY HUNGRY FLASH INSTALLED).
Pros: great battery life

But the iPad2 doesn't have either so this is still the better choice and since I own an iPhone i did not want just a bigger, flash crippled tablet. I wanted a real tablet coputer I could replace my laptop with! Once I add a USB dongle I will be truly able to do everthing I use my laptop to do!

better tan ipad

i debated between this and the ipad. I have a few friends with ipads, so when this came out i really compared the two. First the screen on the galaxy is no comparison. Its the best screen ive seen on a tablet! I watch movies all the time, now that it has netflix theres no question its the better tab. There are way more customizable features, it syncs with all my google stuff atomaticly. I have a pc not a mac so im glad android and google work with the tablet instead of mac stuff. All in all everythings better with the galaxy tab, definatly the better buy, even for the screen alone!

Great Tablet

I had been waiting for a Honeycomb tablet to come out that really stood out, and this is it. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is well-designed, light, and very thin. The battery life is fantastic, and my overall experience has been great. Browsing the internet is great with the 10.1" screen, and video playback has also been stellar. The only issue I have with this tablet is with Honeycomb and various stability issues. I can't fault the tablet itself for this, and I imagine they will be addressed with future Honeycomb versions.

Fast & smooth Flash Videos, Light weight, Thin

Most wonderful product of the year 2011 so far. Thin, light and beautiful. When you hold the product you will feel extra ordinary difference as compare to the other tablets in the market. Everything is fast on this device. Flash videos are easier to watch. Flash videos opens fast and solid. I bought this tablet mainly to watch flash videos and this device does the job. Because i want to watch lengthy programs on the tablet therefore i need light and thin tablet and for this it is the perfect tablet for me. Photo and contacts transfer from other devices are also very easy because of some apps on the android market. Wifi is so brilliant it connects automatically once you setup means when i am out of my wifi zone it disconnects the wifi but as soon as i am in range of my wifi zone it connects automatically i don't have to do anything, it just connects and never drop connection as long as you are in wifi zone.
So don't be afraid of buying this tablet as it is easily the best.

It's thin, lightweight, and has a gorgeous screen. The processor is snappy. Love the customization options. Battery life is terrific! Tons of apps to download. It plays flash video wonderfully. Eat your heart out iPad! This tablet is impressive. I highly recommend it!
