Bought it yesterday morning, plugged it in to charge all day, let it loose in the evening. Emptied out a full canister of dust and debris, charged it overnight, let it go again, it found some more dust, but much less than the day before. House looks spotless. My 2 year old looked equal parts amazed and horrified by it for the first 10 mins, but seems quite keen on it now and has already named it Buddy. Hope it keeps working this well and I will be very, very happy. Wish I'd bought one years ago.
Pros: I'm Not The One Vaccuming

Roomba 630 Rules our House

Does a much better job than the 4000. The docking feature rocks... no more tracking it down and finding somewhere to plug it in. Its ready to go all the time. The swinging door on the dirt tray looks fragile.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Use, Extends Functionality, Inconspicuous Design, Increases Performance
Cons: Noise Level, Weak Cliff Function

Roomba 630 Review

I have old hard wood floors in an NYC apartment and a few area rugs. The Roomba 630 does an amazing job at picking up mounds of dust I never knew I had! I empty the tray after each time I use it and it always picks up a ton of dust. It does a great job at going around my furniture, under my couch and my bed. You do need to pick up things off the floor however like wires because sometimes it gets stuck. The only down side so far is, I have a long hallway with a thick runner rug and it does not work well on that at all. It kind of goes in circles on that rug then says "Please move roomba to a new location" or just shuts off, rather than going back and fourth on the hallway rug like it should. This is a bit disappointing because I don't have any other vacuum cleaner and that rug gets alot of hair and lint things on it. It cleans my thinner area rug in the living room fine though. It must be something with the thickness of the runner rug. Overall I am very happy with the Roomba however!

Cons: Doesn't Work On Thick Rug

Can't live without it!!

Having 2 Corgi's who shed a lot, we couldn't be without a robot. In fact we have 2!! They are used just about daily.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Use, Great For Pet Hair, Hassle Free Operation, Large Debris Bin, Long Run Time

iRobot 630 is my new best friend

Hazel makes my housework seem more fun. I feel like I have a helper in my house, as I do other chores, Hazel keeps my floors clean. I've had her for about a week and started by having her do a good cleaning of each room. I have 3 cockatiels and she gets their fluff and feathers cleanud up easily. She isn't perfect, got stuck under our futon and can't get every nook and cranny, but my workload has been greatly reduced. I am allergic to dust and need to wear a mask to clean the debris bin. I expect that future floor cleaning will be easier and easier! I highly recommend the iRobot 630.

Worked for awhile

This unit worked like a champ the first 3 months. Now it won't find its home dock on its own. The internet talks about replacing parts. For the price of this it should work like a champ a lot longer than 3 months.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient

WHEN I FIRST HEARD ABOUT THE ROOMBA 630, I THOUGHT 'YES ANOTHER GIMMICK' BUT WHEN I HAD A DEMO,FROM MY NEIGHBOUR, I WAS SO IMPRESSED I BOUGHT ONE AND AFTER HAVING IT FOR NEARLY 2 WEEKS NOW I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH THE ROOMBA 630. IT GOES INTO EVERY CORNER AND NEVER FAILS TO PICK UP ANY DIRT OR FLUFF. WHEN THE UNIT NEEDS A RECHARGE [ABOUT 2-3 HOURS] IT GOES BACK TO BASE AND STARTS IT'S RECHARGE.I AM AMAZED AT THE AMOUNT IT SEEMS TO PICK UP. THIS MACHINE IS INCREDIBLE AND WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING IT TO OTHERS.

It has been hard to bend to clean under beds and furniture. I've seriously considered having someone come and do my floors once a week. This robot is cheaper in the long run and I can do it on my schedule. Love it!
