Overall good but complicated

Love most of this product, but to date cannot use Philips Media Connect. So much trouble, it was the feature I was sold on, but no matter what I do, it will not work:(
Pros: the best picture overall, best customer service very patient
Cons: complicated to connect

Excellent Purchase

Great purchase! The television is very easy to set up, and the image and sound are outstanding. We have enjoyed the TV for six months now, and the only complaint is that I cannot access the video options on the net (Netflix, etc.) It starts to load and then just disappears. I have not yet contacted customer service, so I don't know how they will respond.
Pros: price/value/performance
Cons: needs a few more internet options, internet options can be problematic at times

Love the picture and sound. A lot of these tvs have horrible sound, this one actually has a bit of bass. The internet features are really slow. They work, but a roku box is much better.
Pros: picture, sound
Cons: internet tv is slow

the only complaints we have are; sometimes when you turn it on the picture doesn't turn on just the sound but if we turn it off and back on it's fine. And how long it takes to start up.
Pros: built in apps
Cons: length of time to start up

Love the quality of the picture

I love my 55" Philips, the picture quality is great. A friend has a Philips 42' and the picture is outstanding is when I started noticing Philips. I had concerns the larger screen picture performance would suffer, however the picture quality is the same, Awesome! The screen preforms as HD, which you can litterly see peoples face pores. All I have to say is all my friends keep asking how much, because they what one too.
I would recommend this to a friend!
