Over-all i'm satisfied with this tv. The only thing I don't like is the speakers, they have a crackling sound when the sound is above 40.

great tv for the price

i was very impressed with the picture quality and ease of installation. The wireless hook-up was easy but the signal reception was very low. Signal levels on other devices in same room were 3 bars; tv was 1 bar. It also drops the network often causing the tv not to be available for the wireless computer connection software to work. It definitely needs a stronger network drive. I am adding a wireless extender (signal booster) in the room to see if that helps. I also had problems with the update. I bought several flash drives and the tv would not recognize/format any of them. It took 6 or 7 tries to get it to completely load update wirelessly. All in all, it's a great tv for the price.
Pros: picture quality size
Cons: network connectivity

except for dark viewing of all channels everything else is perfect in design and ease of use i would recomend for first time tv
Pros: ease of internet acess and design of tv and speake
Cons: drak screnn after britness turned to hugh

Color and contrast excellent. Just an occasional problem with cutting out when transmitting from the laptop to the TV. I believe it is our Wi-Fi.

This flat screen has a great set of apps that allow the user to view nearly any form of internet content and an amazing number of audio sources. The DLNA capability is very nice but only when used in conjunction with an actual DLNA server. The software app provided by Philips is marginal at best, but that's not a reflection of the TV's excellent set of apps. Keeping the flat screen up to date with firmware upgrades should always be done via a computer and USB stick rather than trying to do the updates directly over the internet to the flat screen. I would certainly give this product a top rating and recommend it to anyone wanting excellent value and numerous features. The analog audio out as well as the digital optical out is great and something the next size larger does not have. The 42" version has only digital optical out for audio and the volume control, doesn't control level.
