55" phillips plasma

It worked great for the first month then started loosing the picture on oneside. Now it just shuts off and turns back on whenever it so desires. Pretty disappointed with this set so far.
Pros: looks great
Cons: nice picture when it works
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When we were shopping for a new TV we looked at several different brands and stores. We finally choose the Philips because from the store display and the Philips name we thought it was a good value. However once we had it home and setup we found the performance (picture quality) was lacking. The features however seem to be good.
Pros: user interface
Cons: does not handle image movement well
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall good, but...

Overall this TV is great, but I do have some issues that aren't deal breakers, but do affect. For example, I have not Netflix app. I go into settings and there is an option to deactivate Netflix, but I don't see the app anywhere. Two, the wireless internet is very slow, If I try to you stream YouTube they are constantly buffering, but if I connect it to the ethernet cable, it streams fine. Also the 120hz feature isn't working right as it blurs the image when moving fast, which it is supposed to get rid of that. So most of the time I deactivate that feature. ...
Advice: For those how are having problems with the tv turning on and off perhaps getting someone to update the firmware would help most of the problems. One update just came about less than a month ago of me writing this review. Might works, so try it.

Verified Purchase:Yes
Had a little trouble connecting via the HDMI ports but that apparently is resolved. I was mostly very impressed with the picture quality and the close up realistic detailed picture unlike another smart LED TV that I have that I never realized the picture was poor until this Phillips TV showed an extreme High Quality Picture.
Pros: picture great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Purchased TV in September 2011. SInceourPurchase we have dealt with an issue where TV is GHOSTING (Showing images of other TV stations in the background) We Thought it aproblem with Our CableTV Provideruntil they showed upwitht heir Own TV,and showed us, it was our 55" Phillips TV. We have since called Phillips Support team,and so far am OK with the process, They seem very helpful and to us PRODUCT SUPPRT IS 95% OF THE RATING, so we will see. I will post more as support contunues and our issue is resolved.
Pros: support has been very good so far., love the tv good graphics and wif ready, phillips a good name good branding
Cons: tv not working correclty soon after purchase.

there is something that bugs me.there are 2 colors which seem to be(glowing),for instance i watch nascar racing and the go daddy green and the red on the target car,most of the redon diffrent cars.
don't take me wrong i love the pitchure its just the little things .
