Excellent picture, tinny sound, lag on games

We purchased this model because of the quality of our other Philips TVs, the picture quality, price and the built-in networking capability. Unfortunately, it also has very poor sound and a definite lag of the on screen controllers when playing on our game consoles. There is also a synchronization problem with the sound when running the sound in parallel to our home theatre system, something not seen with either our old tube TV or our theatre projection system. Overall, while adequate, not something I would purchase again.

Cons: sound, poor interface with game consoles

Everything about this TV is great except for audio....the base is truly AWFUL. Loud and obnoxious!! We should not have to pay extra to buy a sound bar which is what we will have to do.
