Excellent picture quality and beautiful design. After purchasing the 40", several months later I bought the 32" for my bedroom. No problems at all with either.

Excellent picture - clear and crisp. The only thing that could be improved is the audio quality. It is not deficient, but it is not perfect either. Overall, however, a great purchase.

I would not buy this model again

My biggest problem is that it keeps turning itself off and then back on for no apparent reason. This appears to be a common problem because I have read the same comments on multiple review sights, yet Philips doesn't offer a solution to this problem on any of the review sights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The TV seems to work ok, just very disappointed that no updates have been made to the software since 2014!! Not everyone can go out and purchase a new television every few years.

Tv was great at first then it started turning itself off after the first month. The following week the picture started to get wavy when the scene is in motion. The wavyness has gotten so bad I am returning this TV this weekend. Netflix is too slow and half the time the picture quits and we only have sound. I am very disappointed with this TV. Do not buy one.

Good design but bad engineering

This TV is good overall but the little things going wrong are really annoying.
The remote is terrible. You need to be right in front of the TV for it to work. If you're slightly to the side, it won't work.
The response time for the remote is also very slow. It takes around 2 seconds from when you press a button to the action on the TV.
And after a couple years owning this TV, the lack of updates is annoying. Netflix has different users now for the same account. They don't show up.
And don't try to select a specific episode from a specific season. It's impossible. If you want to select season 3, the cursor will move to season 4. No matter how patient and slow you are, it doesn't work.
Pros: very thin
Cons: remote is terrible, needs more updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
