Problems

I have had my tv for 3 months and I am already having issues. I first had picture issues. Now every once and a while it turns off by itself, then restarts. The other night the picture turn into a negative image.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just took this set to the repair shop the 2nd time in 2 months.

I've owned the set for just over 2 months and it's at the repair shop for the second time. I've only been able to watch the set a few times. There's something systemically wrong with this particular set.
Pros: pic is great at the showroom!
Cons: my set isn't showroom great!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Every TV I've ever owned has been a Philips. That's because they've never let me down. They have been reliable, high quality and priced comparable to competing brands.
Although this is a "low-end" LED TV, the picture on this TV is absolutely stunning. The menus are easy to navigate and installing new devices is a snap. My only complaint is that there is only 1 audio output, Digital Coax, unless you have a device that accepts an Audio Return Channel. But I can't really complain because the specifications are posted on this site. I should have done the research. Oh well, this TV is still wonderful. I has built in Wifi with pre-installed apps like Netflix, Hulu, Blockbuster, vTuner, Pandora, YouTube, and plenty more. The MediaConnect feature is another awesome feature on this TV. Just make you that your computer is has at least the minimum requirements.
Shop around and try to find another TV near the same price that includes everything that this one does. I bet you'll come back to get this one. I'm glad I did!

Cons: limited connectivity.

Right Router is key

I love design price and picture of this product. My experience is however been distracted by the router I had...I had a Belkin 150 to start and it was great for our laptops at home but limited reception and constant stuter and reloadin made for horrible experience. I recognized issue and new it was not television, but router handling I upgraded to belkin n600 figuring increased bandwidth would satisfy problem. The problems then was connection kept getting dropped and it wasn't just one belkin router I tried three times. Solution NETGEAR!!!! I believe this brand is just more stable maybe a small amount more money, but SO worth it and it has dramatically impacted experience with this device. I think phillips should have this as a recommended product because obviously the compatibility is far superior than other devices. Enjoy again I love quality of this product and glad I can finally use features....oh side note if you have a mac and want to stream video vuze works perfect!!
