Canon one of the best products out in this world, I own the excellent Camera and this printer Love them both and enjoying them, I paid much money into both of the products and am very very content with them.

Lasted through two ink cycles

Purchased a new pima mx712 ran out of ink, purchased new cartridges, printed approximately 50 copies and then the printer quit. Will not turn on no power surges, no problems, just will not turn on. Will cost more to fix than to buy another. Will not be a Canon.

I NEEDED A NEW PRINTER AND I HIT THE JACK POT WITH THIS ONE. IT HAS SO MANY FEATURES I PROBABLY WON'T USE THEM ALL. ONLY PROBLEM FOR ME IS IT SEEMS TO PRINT A LITTLE SLOW AND STARTUP IS SLOW. BUT OTHERWISE WOULD RECOMEND TO ANYONE.

Very good looking functional design. White color goes well within home office. Clear instructions for initial set up. The video tutorials available on Canon USA website, make it more easy. Highly recommend to watch before starting install.This is my second Canon printer , the first is MX860, and was very difficult to install. This MG7120 printer installed very quickly on my wifi. I had it up and running within an hour all by myself.
The quality of printing is very good. I have not tried to scan as yet. This model does not have auto feed but capability to print from my laptop, iPhone etc. makes the difference for me. Still using the inks which came with the unit. Hope soon off brand inks will be available to keep down the operating costs for a home office.

Service Makes the difference

Have had for 5 months. Use on quiet mode & find it is quick and w/ quality as good as you're willing to "spend" ink on.

Service? Out of the blue this week after changing 3 almost empty cartridges at the same time got an error message. Followed instructions but it wouldn't clear. Went to website and e-mailed cust serv. In less than an hour had a reply that it would need service and they would exchange at no charge. This was a Wed afternoon and new printer was on my door step by mid afternoon Thursday!
I think it's a great printer for the money but the service is what keeps me going back to Canon!
Pros: Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use, 1 yr free exchange, like color choices
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not very happy

I had a canon printer before and was quite happy with it so thought I would stick with canon. I researched online and thought this one had pretty good ratings. Humph. I can not get it to print labels without jamming. Hard to insert them. Have to take out the whole tray which is hard to get in and out. I was able to put in just one or two labels before and print them by just sticking them in the top of the printer. It is bigger and bulkier than my old unit and does not fit on my table as well. Could not get it to set up wireless either. Thinking of returning it and wish I could just get my old printer fixed.
Pros: sleek design
Cons: hard to load paper, can't print smaller labels
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
