Lots of features

Nice looking piece of equipment. Seems reasonably fast at printing and scanning. Be sure to follow the instructions for setup--there are lots of pieces of packing materials. After only a few days of use, the printer seems very slow to start up when it is turned on. Cannot print files from Google Chrome browser, but OK from Internet Explorer. I look forward to experimenting with photo printing.
Pros: Lightweight/Portable, fast print speed
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy set-up

I am far from having any tech savy regarding computer set ups, etc.
The install of this Bluetooth device was amazingly simple, getting the toner cassettes in place was the most challenging task (snapping them in place), The directions on the device screen are very clear and easy to follow.
Thanks, Canon! Your printer is as good as your cameras. We have a Canon Power Shot SX110. Satisfaction with that camera is what drove the selection of the Canon printer to go with our new home computer.

it's ok

The printer itself is ok. It's a boss, is pretty reliable. But it shakes a lot when printing, and is slow. I teach so I need a quick printing printer that can handle big jobs, and this printer just doesn't seem to do that for me. Plus it sucks down ink like it's going out of style. I feel like every week or so I have to go and get more ink for it. Kinda ridiculous, it has gotten so bad that I had to get an office jet printer to help with the big projects. Was really hoping that this printer would be better than it is for the price paid.

Continous connection problems with my Mac

Ever since I started using this printer it's been extremely fussy with the connection to my Mac Pro (2013).
Wireless printing stopped working altogether so I connected it with USB to my Airport and even then it very often cannot find the printer and the much-touted Auto Start-up does not work at all. A huge disappointment!

This printer produces nice output, but it is very costly (ink).

I purchased a new MG-7120 and it would not work straight out of the box. I called customer service and they had me try some other fixes, but nothing worked. So they replaced my new 7120 with a used, "re-furbished" one.
This one works, but to replace a new machine with a used one is not good business practices. I really feel cheated, but will use this used machine until it crashes, then buy another brand.

I am extremely pleased with the photo printing. I have yet to explore the many features offered, but I can tell this is a great printer.
