New love affair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are massive ice cream lovers in our house - and we’re also people who don’t love anything that requires lots of planning! The fact you can just throw your ingredients into the bowl, switch it on and have ice cream in 50 minutes is just the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to work with Cuisinart to create a recipe using this product and I can’t express how easy it is to use! Ice cream recipes generally contain very few ingredients mixed together and poured straight into the Ice Cream and Gelato Professional. It just takes a few button clicks and the work is done for you. Very easy to use and clean + comes with a handbook that includes detailed instructions for use/care and a range of ice cream, gelato and sorbet recipes.

We recently bought the Cuisinart Professional Ice Cream Maker and it has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. It makes delicious ice cream and sorbets [without the need to pre-freeze the container] is easy to use and whilst the enclosed instructions and recipes are great we are already beginning to make up some scrumptious new recipes of our own. The added benefit of course is that we know exactly what is going into our cream ice and with the price of commercial ice cream as it is we will make back the cost of the maker within a few months. The only [small] downside is around cleaning the mixing paddle which because it has lots of nooks and crannies, always means that someone ends up having to lick it clean :-)

The Cruisinart ice cream maker is noisier than I expected but make great ice cream.
I am disappointed that the left over ice cream freezes too hard in a normal freezer, I had hoped it would come out a bit softer for using in waffle cornets.
Do you have any tips on how to make and store ice cream that can be scooped from the freezer.
Cuisinart ice cream/gelato recipes are easy to use and work well.
