I've had the Galaxy Tab 2 and the Galaxy Note 3, both of which are incredibly fine devices in the Samsung arsenal. When updating my phone there was no question, the "Samsung Galaxy Note Edge" was the device for me with the availability to see the applications visible on the edge of my device. Technology has sure improved in the last two years. The Galaxy Note Edge was my choice over the Galaxy Note 4 because of the ability to move to the different applications within a blink. My choice...
Fantastic Device! Battery life for minimal to normal use is atrocious!

Pros - I couldn't be happier with the phones design and function! It is outstanding. Perfect size, does everything I could want, the edge display is so helpful it's going to become a must have(even it's in app form on flatscreen phones). It is blazing fast, great display, the toys are both fun and useful(s-pen, remote control, S Health, camera modes, fingerprint log in, etc). I love everything about this phone except...
Cons - I'm telling you the battery life on this device is so bad it's laughable. it's "ok" if you don't actually use the phone and just have it sitting in your pocket all day. Even with power saving mode enabled I can barely get a day's use out of the phone without a charging break when I get home from work. Mind you, I've have the thing for just over a week. The fast charger is nice when it works. This battery in this device is like putting a 150 horse power 4 cylinder engine into a Shelby Mustang. It just isn't capable of making the machine perform like it's supposed to.
All Samsung All the time. This is my fourth note, not to mention so is my tablet. User and operating friendly and tons of features. I design my architectural work as well as write estimates and receipts for my construction business. To boot I even write papers, do spreadsheets in exell, as well as power point presentations on the fly. This is done all on the biggest and clearest of screens in the mobile phone market.
Fast reliable, good camera, nite screen and colors
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

I bought my sprint note edge about a month ago and ever since I bought it, the battery was my biggest concern, I also don't like how the phone is very laggy with lollipop 5.0.1.phone does not perform like it promised..I'm really disappointed with that, but overall the features the phone has are awesome I always loved the note for all the features it had..I hope Samsung can give us a update with better battery life or more smooth os ..thanks for hearing my thoughts on my phone and hope Samsung hears their customers complaints and takes it serious
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, big screen display, s pen features
Cons: battery life, too expensive(retail price), laggy os
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung Galaxy Note edge is the best phablet in the world. Big screen is ALWAYS easy to read without reading glasses. Key pad is large on big screen making typing a breeze even if your 6'4" 250lbs with thick sausage fingers like me. It has been an anewer to prayer, however I would like to have it in metal. 7 month power user and thats the only downside for the price.
