couldn't ask for a better phone

so far I've only had this phone for a week or so but I can tell you now do I won't be going to any other Samsung except the edge series as long as Samsung continues then I haven't found any downfalls or problems with the phone it works excellent to me and to my wife who has an edge as well I have also bought new Samsung gear circle and with the Samsung Galaxy Note edge the phone and headphones work tremendously couldn't ask for better products in my opinion the notes have always been great phones but the note edge tops them all will be buying more no edges as long as they continue
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

The Edge is a well made device which is also light and full of features. The android experience is fast smooth and with a gorgeous display better than any other phone . Display has a 5.6 viewing area , plus the edge"s corner you can customize with different icons and bars. Powerful device that fit all of your needs.

The New Normal

I simply love this thing! I am upgrading from a Note 2 so I skipped a few iteration of the Note. I wanted a larger display when I originally purchased the Note 2 and the ability to take notes. I did not like the stylus with the Note 2 and how easy it was to lose. So when I opened the Note Edge - which is the Note 4 with a side scene, I was awed. The immediate notice was the light feel and the slimness. Every aspect of this phone is a marked improvement of the Note 2. Clarity and Brightness check those boxes; features check that box and if you can fit in a double check - do it. I am on my second say of learning it and just scratching the surface. Get and use the Smart Switch App. Within 20 minutes, I had everything from my Note 2 safely residing on the Note Edge. I hope developers support it - the Edge feature - I went and downloaded the few available options. My only concern is the signal strength. I am getting spotty sign strength compared to areas where the not 2 gave me strong signals. I would hate to bulk this phone up with a large protective case, so I am looking for the right fit to protect it without changing the current look.

I've read that this phone is gimmicky at best. But that does not truly define art to function on this phone. In my opinion, this is the best phone that Samsung has come out with yet. I love that I can use this phone as a remote for my entertainment center, as well as the Bluetooth and WiFi features. This phone is fast and functional, as well as providing extra real estate to the main screen. This side taskbar is extremely useful in that I can quickly check my notifications without having the phone Blair a light in my eyes at night. The camera is very amazing with the different mode capabilities. And ergonomically, all of the buttons are where I need them to be. I love the S Pen and its capabilities. And I love that I can take a screenshot and write my notes on the picture, or do any mods to the picture that I need to, and save it right on the spot. This edge, is more than I hoped for, and provides for all of my analytical as well as artistical needs. In my opinion it's going to be very hard for you to come up with a better phone. But I look forward to see what Samsung might have in the future. Great job Samsung! Please make a glass protector for the screen that is better then the plastic that they have out now. Thank you Samsung.

If you are a prior note user, all of the things you love are now enhanced. If this is to be your first note....you will never go back. The edge screen takes about 2 days to become accustomed to but once you have picked your favorite apps and set them, you might find you only need icons on one (or none) screen(s). I can get to every app I use regularly with the edge screens. This makes one hand operation super smooth. Camera functions are better and much smoother. Programs now open as "cards" which makes accessing a recent (or even a much older page or app) snap open almost instantly. Multi window functionality is enhanced as well. Every once in a great while there seems to be a very slight delay in opening an app...this may actually be normal speed since everything else operates so much faster a microsecond in delay feels weird. The "window shade" operates a little too fast for me...if I get 3 or more notifications at the same time, pulling down the window shade provides enough time for me to scan them but not enough for me to pick one to open. I have not e,pirimented with enlongating the time frame, I don't even know if it is possible. This is my favorite phone to date. Hands down.

Best phone I've owned so far! I was waiting for a Galaxy S6, but when I learned that it would have no removable battery or SD card slot I decided to go with the Note Edge instead. Glad I did! Turns out I love the size. Disappointed about the S6 but, this time, you did me a favor.
