love this phone. After close to 2 years, I am having major issue with the battery

great phone and I use the s-pen to take notes with during work and it is great. all the apps and features you will find with and android smart phone.
Recently I am having issues with my battery where I am literally only getting a few hours and you it drops to 50% the phone turns off and on until the battery dies.
only reason I am leaving a review is in the hopes to find some insight to trouble shoot my current issue.
Otherwise love this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

This is by far my most loved Samsung phone! I've had almost every generation prior and although the others are amazing devices, the Note Edge is my most loved.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: shattered screen

I loved this phone, the edge was perfect...the edge now is garbage BRING BACK THIS STYLE
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, egde screen didnt stop you from what you were doin
Cons: not water proof

Samsung really outdid themselves with this product. Features include: Built-in S-Pen, Night Clock, The Edge, which provides complete access when the custom case is closed (sold separately), Quick Charging, IR emitter, to use as a remote control for other devices, Multiple sensors that can detect SpO2 levels, UV exposure, and Heart Rate, to name a few. The Galaxy Note Edge also features two cameras, the one on the back takes photographs that rival those from my professional camera. Will also record high quality video. With Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SmartView, and SideSync, sharing files has never been easier. And share you can, because the Galaxy Note Edge is fully compatible with the Operating systems that most of us use. In addition, it is completely customizable, and has an SD card slot so you'll never run out of memory.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Ok so I purchased the phone in April 2015. In August of 2015 the battery would get really hot and the phone would not power on. Now in December 2016 I have to keep the phone plugged in just to talk.. the screen freezes often and will inadvertently drop whatever you are doing on the internet for no reason.
Pros: Built-in speakers
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dear Samsung,
I currently have had the Note Edge for more than two years. Love the phone by the way. The only thing I would complain about this phone is that the camera takes long to focus. My fault - I've overcharged my phone plenty of times - my phone dies around 70-90%. I have to bring a portable charger around with me/soon need to buy a new battery. I'm in need of a new phone.
I love the edge design and I appreciate that you have continued the design in recent phones like the S7 Edge and the Note 7. Different. Bold. Beautiful.
I can't wait for the release of the Galaxy S8 Edge and the Galaxy Note 8. Gearing towards the Note because of the S pen. I would like to RECOMMEND....is it possible for the S pen to take pictures/video??? One click takes a picture. Double click takes a video. Just saying...
Thank you Samsung. Keep up the awesome work.

Samsung Note 4 Edge - the absolute best, for me that is...!

The absolutely best samsung note family TRUE EDGE phone
I use this phone for work
I also use the s6edge and s7edge however
the NOTE 4 EDGE is the only TRUE EDGE PHONE in the samsung brand
the EDGE actually extends in a true curve from the top right face up of the screen all the way curving to the absolute bottom right of the phone
this allows me to use the entire screen space and still have the curved portion as a plus mini screen so its like having two screens,
the information which is displayed on my note 4 edge screen is very clear to read and manage whilst still using my main screen with no loss of screen space

whereas in all the other edges they are just a very slight curve and almost superficial curve effect which uses up some of your screen space in fact too much screen space so i very rarely use the superficial curve its quite agravating because im working on these phones doing an average of 6 tasks at the same time.
good luck to all but ive been so hopeful and and hopefull and more hopeful waiting for an upgrade on the note 4 edge (1 edge 1 real edge scren)

Great phones! Worth every penny. Keeps up with the NEW PHONES EVEN TODAY! A Phone before its time! Fast and easy to use!
