I upgraded to this from the S5 and I like it. The screen is much clearer and the sound is better.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is an awesome device! I'm able to work and play with no problem so that's a plus in my book!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable
Cons: overheats easily

I love this phone, because it was so innovative upon release. This is the first phone I was excited about since the galaxy S3. This was no normal incremental upgrade. The edge is very responsive, and I love that it is a separate functional screen, unlike the newer galaxy variants. I'm hoping the Note 6 will have a similar feel. This design was definitely ahead of it's time. People still marvel at my device almost two years later. Memory management is very good. Sometimes I run twenty apps, and can't tell. The display is still very impressive, and the colors are vivid. The only drawback is the battery life. I've recommended this phone to half a dozen people, that actually purchased, and they all agree the battery is where it lacked. Over time your phone will die suddenly after 20%. T-Mobile, my provider was gracious enough to replace my battery. The phone is great again. I've had every galaxy between my wife, and I, and this was the most impressive jump this far.... at least up to the S7.

Cons: battery life

I bought this phone with the hopes that it would be just like the note 4, but with a curved screen. When I first bought it, I honestly thought I received a defective unit do to the battery dying in excess. After speaking to countless customers at my work, it became relevant to me that I was not alone. I ended up buying Porta let mophie chargers to use everywhere I went until I ended up trading this phone for a regular note 4. The lock button on this phone is a bit odd as well. It's located on the top of the phone similar to an iphone 5s. I don't like this design on such a large phone, but that's just personal preference.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, terrible battery, poor lock button location
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I know this is a late review for this device but I bought it fire a steal and wanted to convey my experience.
I love the design. The edge is a head turner. In general the device performs well but dies get bogged down at times.
It can be easily rooted but I have chosen not to. I do wish 6.01 was available for it but 5.1.1 is fine.
I get a fill day of battery with moderate use. Gaming and videos will kill the battery. Glad it is removable and you can just pop a new charged one.
It is a big phone. Wider than most, not taller. I am generally happy worth the purchase. I had a Note II and skipped the Note 3. The Edge is a nice device even today.
Pros: Bright display, s pen, edge display
Cons: no android 6.x, can go through battery if you are a heavy user
I would recommend this to a friend!

I will be getting a Note 6 to replace this when it comes out I hope they make a larger Note 6 like a note 6 mega and a 6 inch or 6.4 inch screen. Samsung has the resources to make a flagship mega device but they always water down the mega or make a A9 pro which is not a flagship Make a Note 6 mega and see how many people flock to that device.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: battery life

There are locking flaws where the phone locks while being used and the phone shuts down due to the battery even though the screen shows 40%. It does overheat too.
Other than that, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I LOVE MY NOTE EDGE!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, easy to use and navigate
Cons: not durable enough
