I will start off with a brief history. This is only the third smart phone i've owned. I've had an Iphone 4S, Motorola Droid Maxx, and this phone. It's the best smartphone i've used so far. The display is great for anything from videos to games. Even after nearly a years use it's still fast. I love the OS and how customizable everything is. Definitely an upgrade after the two phones I mentioned earlier. This phone is essentially the Note 4 but with the curved edge so I will focus the rest of the review on that. Compared to the Galaxy S6 Edge, it's awesome. The edge on this is less for looks and more for functionality. In other words, it feels less like a cheap gimmick and more like a tool. All notifications pop up on the edge so as to not interrupt what you're doing on the main screen. It's 100 percent customizable as well. All the way from a different background to choosing which apps and notifications show up on it. And you can have multiple pages of them just by swiping to the right or left on the edge. Which is easier than it sounds. Now here is my only complaint, and it's something I kind of thought about before buying it. There is a huge lack of accessories, such as cases. Because of the edge there is a very limited choice in screen protectors as well, meaning no tempered glass screen protectors. If you like to change cases on a weekly basis or like a range of third party accessories then I would not recommend the edge. The average battery life has also dropped by half a day or so. But this is expected with any smart phone after a years use or more. With all of that said I would highly recommend this phone to anyone willing to take a dive and try something new. But if you're not into the Edge I'd steer more towards the Note 4 or 5 or stick with the S series.

Good but.....

This phone was great when I first got it, however after 6 months it started to freeze, recycling, and get heated. This is my second hand set.
The look and features are good, you can set your most used apps on the edge so you won't have to go thru your apps.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, to expensive don't worth that price tag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Data recovery too bad

This is the third phone I receive in 6 months time.
Antenna failed, power button failed on the second one.
First time ever a phone fail so often.

As the power button didn't work, I couldn't recover the data properly.
I made a back up using the smart switch.
Unfortunately a big chunk of data is lost.
Calendar was lost, all notes and memos are lost. I couldn't also transfer the calendar and notes from my Outlook at the pc into the phone.

There is no good program that can copy all the data from Pc to phone or from phone to phone.
Pros: edge screen big screen
Cons: Poor quality, no transfer programs, no notes and memos, no good pc program for the cell
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is a great phone. I love the Edge part it was great for multi-tasking. I just don't like how it froze up on me sometimes.
Pros: i love the edge
Cons: it has some glitches it freezes up sometimes
