[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Piece of Junk. GE and engineers should be ashamed. Produced a nice looking product (gas stove/oven) which seems to work well, until you open the door after cooking----yes cooking, and the plastic part just behind the gas knob melts and crinkles. Wasn't all that hot---it is just plastic in a very bad place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have looked for 5 years to get something that was made top quality for home use. This is it, I love my stove! Tks for making a great looking stove that really works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stove. The griddle is a wonderful extra that I use all the time. The flexiblity of the burners is great. It preheats fast. I never even hear the fan that comes on after you bake for a while, it is not that loud at all. The cooktop cleans up very easily but does scratch easily so you have to be careful when cleaning and when removing the grates. The top of the burners stains from grease and I can't get that off. Other than that, it's really great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simmering flame goes out

Just installed the range. All burners start but when knob turned to simmering flame goes out even with the smallest air movement. If knob turned to simmering fast flame goes out right away, but gas is still going....
Called for service...

I have used this oven for 5 yrs. I love the center burner and the power feature for boiling or quick heating. I also love the baking drawer. It is almost as good as have a second oven. But, 2 of the knobs have been replaced and a third one is cracked. The replacement knobs are not the same size and are very expensive. I have also had to replace two of the burner covers as they were slowing chipping and falling apart. The cook-top does scratch easily and I can't find any cleaning product that gets rid of the discoloration from the gas and food.
