We have the double oven of this particular model and it is great. My only complaint is the cook-top griddle could be much better. We use the griddle a ton and it's not as nice as our GE Profile griddle even though this oven/range was an upgrade.

Complete control of cooking temperature

This range offers a variety of burner sizes and BTU ratings. It is very easy to control the cooking temperature for different foods. Much better than our previous electric range. Very attractive, professional-looking addition to our Kitchen.

Great looking range. So far very happy with the dual fuel compared to our older GE Gas range. A bit pricey but it seems to be top quality. We use it daily so the value is realized. Oven pre-heats quickly, variety of gas burner size and set up provides great cooking options. I disagree with other reviews mention the fan being too loud. As far as the color of the LED panels mis-matching I have more important things to do and have not noticed, not a big deal to me. I have only had for a few weeks but am highly impressed with the quality and performance of this range. Will update my review if things change over time.

Great looking but just misses the mark

I have had the cafe series dual fuel range for 2 years now. I love the gas cooktop with electric oven combination. It LOOKS very expensive. The middle (center) cooking element is useless as others had noted. I disregarded their comments and thought surely, why would GE put something out there if it wasn't useful...well...I think they are able to boast a 5 burner for marketing purposes. The other 4 work fine. They should just eliminate the middle one or make it a true burner. The two ovens look great too but only the top is a real oven. The bottom is heated up by a light. Remind anyone of Easy bake oven? The bottom isn't connected to the electric panel, its turned on by a knob. The only way of really telling if its heating up is by an inside thermometer. Even then, you need to continually open the bottom drawer to check the temp. When they make the 5th burner useable, and the bottom oven operable, I will upgrade at that time. Otherwise buy it for solely 4 burners and one oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The convection oven is superb, the gas cooktop is GREAT. I love the griddle thingy and the power boil burner. The warming drawer is like having a dual oven....I cant wait until Thanksgiving.
