Wish it had a middle grill accessory, or a reversible grill/griddle. It comes with the griddle only.. Have used it a couple times but not good for eggs, as they tend to run into the grooves. Make sure you season it before 1st use with a light dusting of olive oil. It will clean up easy for you after that. When using the middle burner with a pan on high gas it doesn't give me that boost of sizzle I'm looking for when cooking meats. I have to move the pan to one of the other burners. I found using microfiber cloths to clean means it won't scratch!! The GE guy who installed told me this. He also said to run the oven on 400 degrees for 4-5 hours before using to burn off all the paint/smells. We did that and it was pretty strong. Remove all animals and kids and have a fan going and windows open. The oven is a little weird when you turn it on. Each time I put it on a temperature to bake it shuts off. I have to do it twice and then it stays on. Haven't used the bottom yet but look forward to it and I'm glad it's not just a warming drawer. Haven't used the meat probe. Have used the broiler and was very happy with the results.
cooks much more evenly than electric and is easier

Took a while to adjust to cooking with gas but have adjusted well. Only problem I have is accidently bumping the control pad and activating a function accidently. Back of stove top would probably be a better location
I can't review much on this range at this point. We have only had it for 5 days. As far as looks go, it's beautiful! I really have not used it yet because we are waiting to have an issue resolved. This is NOT a slide in range as advertised. We purchased this range with the assumption that it was a slide in range as stated on GE website. The appliance was delivered and installed and it does not fit properly. We replaced a slide in range with this range and the counter top at our home was cut specifically for a slide in range. I love the range! It is beautiful but looks horrible as is now. It is actually a drop in range. We are waiting to see if we can have something done with our countertop in order to make it look right. If we can't, unfortunately I do not think we will keep the range. It's upsetting to spend this amount on an appliance and have it look so unfinished. GE really should not advertise this as a slide in range. Once we figure out if this range will be able to be fit into our set up correctly I will update my review. I hope this helps anyone who specifically needs a slide range as we did.
