This was a replacement range when we moved into our current home. Overall, performance is very nice. If I could change one thing, it would be to have a smaller burner located close to the front. Both large power burners are at the front, so many times I am reaching far to the back, which is a bit frustrating. I also wish the small burner in back would go a bit lower. Even the lowest setting is too "high" at times. The bottom drawer oven has worked quite well, so I am pleased with that.
My newly built home came with dual fuel stove which sounded great as I love to cook. Sadly it is too easy to accidentally hit controls while leaning in to stir pot on the back burners, leading to problems. The temperature of the elec oven cannot be adjusted up or down without turning oven off and resetting temperature. In my haste to increase temp, I hit lockout and had a terrible time getting it working again (only after finding and reading manual). Then the oven lights (interior) have never come on again. Hate the flat back surface. Love the 5th griddle/ burner and gas controls but touchy panel is not safe in my estimation. Use the timer on the “matching microwave” because the oven timer is a pain. Hate the microwave because it does not have a soften/melt feature that I use frequently for baking (cream cheese and butter ready to use in seconds). I wish I could trade these two items in and replace them. I feel angry every time I use these and get frustrated by their short comings. Did you you talk to people who cook all the time (2 and 3 times a day) when you designed these? I would not want this touchy controls panel in my kitchen if I had young children or even boisterous pets. All knobs and touch control on a stove should be out of reach to children a pets.
My oven lights go out all the time. Sometimes they randomly come back on. They are not loose and I keep replacing them. I am an experienced cook and I am having trouble roasting. Either the skin is not crisp or it is over browned. Convection roast burns the food and leaves it tough. The self clean feature does not clean the oven. Sort of disappointed for the money I paid.
I am new to a gas stovetop, and I absolutely love this stove and the precise control of the burners. I also love the dual fuel larger over with the "baker oven". Even though it's a smaller oven, I use it like a full oven for everything that does not require a larger pan/pot. I love having 2 ovens in my smaller sized kitchen.
Works flawlessly so far. Only had it for 3 days, but the range seems solid and easy to use. Oven worked great. I like the different burner settings and it looks nice in my kitchen.
We have been using this model for over a month now and are happy with it's performance. We first got a Profile model that was defective and decided to replace it with this Cafe model. This is much more convenient with the broiler in the upper oven for viewing what's going on in there. I've used the lower oven often for short height items (only about 4" clearance) and it has worked well (though the lower oven takes longer to preheat than the top oven). Everything else works well though I'm still adjusting to which burners to use for what. The back left burner has gone out a time or two on low and had to be relit, and the back right burner sometimes has to be lit with a lighter rather than just the 'lite' function on the knob.
I have been using this range for about 2 years. Function is good the stainless steel top scratches very easily, particularly when moving the grates to clean.
