Overall I am happy with this stove, I frequently use the grill. One feature I had on my last duel fuel stove was "rapid preheat" for the oven which I used a lot. GE should consider adding this feature.
I love my new GE cafe series dual range. The grill pan is awesome when making pancakes. At thanksgiving I was able to use the drawer as an oven when my turkey was in. It cleans up nicely too!
I've always wanted gas burners but had reservations about using a gas oven. This oven provides the best of both features. And being able to bake in the bottom drawer is great for large family gatherings. It's like having two ovens in one!
We bought this same range 3 years ago for our summer home. We have enjoyed it so very much that when we decided to have a complete gut/remodel done to the kitchen at our winter home we chose the exact same range....and are so very excited to have this great range in both homes!
I bought this oven just before Thanksgiving and it worked out perfectly for all the cooking I had to do. The lower oven was perfect for cooking the veggie dish and rolls while the large oven cooked the turkey. If you haven't used convection before, it's a must have feature now that I have it. Homemade pizza finally comes out with a crispy crust but and still soft chewy on the inside!
I bought this 6 months ago and really love it. Love the warming burner, the extra large burner, convection and the hi/low broiler. We especially loved the 3 rack for cookies!! Thanksgiving and Christmas were heavenly with this oven! So glad we purchased it. It looks great too, but love the overall oven features.
We purchased the oven and had it installed on January 15 and have used it every day for the past two weeks. It is easy to operate and is far superior to the oven that it replaced (not a GE). The old oven came with the house that we bought in 2000. So, we used that old oven for 15 years. We should have upgraded to a new GE when we first moved in!!!
