This oven was bought to replace an old Kitchenaid Steam Assist oven that broke down during our kitchen renovation. It was certainly much more affordable than the Kitchenaid. I was worried that performance might suffer but the Convection settings seem to do at least as good a job as my old oven and when I measured with an oven thermometer, the temperature distribution was much more even with the GE. My only complaint is that, although the range body is perfectly level, the cooking grates seem to be slightly tilted forward causing oil to pool slightly at the front of my pans. Definitely worth the cost though.

Like the features of a baking drawer and the other oven baking drawer doesn't bake as well as I would like but it is useful and the oven itself tends to be about 25° cooler than set temp

I really like the features of the Cafe line of GE appliances. I chose the dual fuel model and love the features. Very successful Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and baked goods.

I love this range! It is gorgeous. I really wanted double ovens but they just weren't in my budget so this range, with the lower warming oven really is perfect. I have had a few problems with the burners on the top but they have been solved. This is a fantastic range. I'd definitely recommend.

I have had my stove a short time. In that time I have been more than satisfied with both surface and oven usage. It has been easy to learn procedures for oven and timer usage. I have enjoyed the wide range of simmer and power boil on surface elements. Clean up is easy and the stovetop surface is easy to keep looking good.

Hoping the features will be fixed to work right

I bought this with high hopes of never having an under or over done roast or turkey. HOWEVER, the probe cooking totally failed. I read the directions multiple times, put the probe in the cold turkey and 50 minutes later the oven shut down and said the turkey was at 161 degrees. Impossible. Put my old fashioned meat thermometer in and it registered under 100. They are supposed to come and look at it, hope it can work or the stove may go back. The oven drawer was handy, it did work good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
