Very quiet operation.

Bottle cap destroyed our dishwasher

Our 6.5 year old GE Cafe dishwasher broke yesterday. On the bottom of the dishwasher was a very old rusted and brittle bottle cap, and 2 damaged dishwasher parts-a twist cap and plastic strip. The bottle cap has the letter B on it. We have no idea where this came from. We drink nothing with a cap with the letter B on it that requires a can opener. Someone in GE's manufacturing plant or warehouse must have tossed the cap into the dishwasher before being shipped and it just popped out now. We are VERY ANGRY!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The worst dishwasher ever

This dishwasher doesn't clean the top shelf AT ALL. Service came, I got a lesson in loading.

The smooth look of the front and all features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the appearance of the dish washer. I do not like the black rack inside as it is hard to see unless all lights are on in the kitchen. The top rack drifts in when loading or unloading and have to hold it in the open position with one hand while doing either one. It does a good job in cleaning the dishes.
