Very Happy With This Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We redid kitchen and choose GE Cafe Line. This dishwasher has performed very well for 6 months with everyday use. I found that the detergent pods don't work well, use the detergent (e.g., Cascade) from a pour bottle. The pods left residue on the silverware. Much quieter than our old one, but not as quiet as some high end models.Cleans very nicely if correct detergent used. Love the appearance and the interior always looks nice and clean!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the entire Cafe line 5 years ago. I was very excited as they were very nice looking. I have had problems with each and every piece. The dishwasher started out quiet. I feel it does a good job cleaning, but nothing over and above any other brand I have used. It doesn't fully dry the dishes. At 5 years old, I am finding the racks are starting to rust in areas and the fan that runs at the end of the wash cycle is now LOUD and not something that is easily ignored. For the price of the Cafe line, I definitely expected higher quality and dependability!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quiet. Sometimes hard to tell if it is on it is so quiet. At first it did not clean well. Then we checked manual and since we have very hard water we added more dishwasher detergent (2 packs instead of one) as suggested. Now cleaning is excellent. Be aware of this issue in hard water areas.

My wife and I had apprenhensions about purchasing this dishwasher, but after using it for two months all those thoughts has been completely washed away (no pun intended). GREAT PRODUCT AND A BETTER BUY.

Wouldn't you know it. One month after the warranty expired our dishwasher died. We've actually loved this dishwasher until now. Very quiet and does an excellent job of cleaning. With any dishwasher I've found you still have to clean off some of the more tenacious soils - melted cheese and so on. Disappointed in its longevity though. Hoping a service call will help. And I'll update this rating if we can get things running again.

This product does not clean the dishes.

I have used this product for 6 weeks. I have not had one load of dishes that came out clean. I have purchased all of the GE Cafe appliances and I love the other products, but the dishwasher does not clean the dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
