What a great TV!

I did a lot of research on LED TV's before my purchase. I checked all the brands and decided to by the Samsung LED. The picture is amazing and the the on-screen controls and settings are simple and straightforward. I will recommend it to anyone interested in buying a top of the line TV.

Beautiful Picture !!

I love this TV. I will never buy another LCD TV. It took me a while to figure out how to get the "mouse" on the QWERTY remote to work while navigating around the Internet but it was worth the effort.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great Tv for the price we paid. High quality picture for HD SAT and we use it as a monitor.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: apps lag a bit at times

misadvertising about internet access

One of my main reason to purchase this model, and willing to pay good money for, because of the advertised on the product box that this model allows internet surfing. Well it is not really so. It allows you to connect to Facebook account, and have link to hulu, Netflick, and BBC internet TV, but it does not act as the normal internet browser. Worse, I find out only after buying that I have to use the remote control to navigate the alphabet typing, using the numerical on the remote control. It is so inconvenient. Becuase of that it does not work as a normal browser (like IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc). You have to use the arrow button to jump from box section to box section to navigate. And it does not work in many web pages. After several minutes typing in the URL, I got the message "we do not recognize your browser". In short, it is not fully ready for internet access. Instruction on navigation and how to input is not readily available. You have to fiddle with the remote control to input certain numbers, or characters. I would not have had bought this model if I had known all about this inconvenience and trouble in order to surf internet on this so called "SMART TV". In general, I felt being cheated from such advertising.
Beside this , the design and performance as a LED TV is above average, good color and high def. But since my main reason to buy is about the internet features, I must rate it 2 stars, because of misleading advertisement .

Almost Perfect

I have owned this set for almost a year. The picture is amazing. The sound is adequate. The features are too numerous to mention (Netflix, online browsing and the ability to access external hard drives are my favorites).
My only complaint about this television is a minor one: surfing the web and watching online videos can try your patience (i.e. it's easy to forget that this is NOT a computer with a laptop and keyboard). Other than that, it's probably one of the smartest purchases I've ever made

I'm glad I took my son with me to look at tvs. He said samsung has a good reputation,and I LOVE my samsung frontloader washing machine-so I again went with samsung,and I absolutely could'nt be happier with my new 3d tv. It's so smart, but NOT overwhelming-actually quite easy to use.

TV Panel Picture Trouble

I bought the TV for Christmas 2011. In July 2012 (7 months), the picture flickered and got bright then dim. Then the HD picture lost its sharpness. Text appeared with horizontal lines visible and bad resolution. Using the self-diagnosis picture test determined it was the TV not the cable signal.
The one-year warranty covered the repair. The technician said the TV panel went bad and it took two weeks to order the part and install in my home. Everything is back to normal now.
Samsung does honor their warranty and I'm satisfied with the repair service and would buy another Samsung TV in the future.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
