best picture ever

I highly recommend this TV, for the best quality picture ever. It feels as though the actors on the screen are in my home. Very easy to set up and has a swivel base and light weight. The sound is also very good. Samsung website has "how to do" videos for any questions that one may have.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

After several weeks of research both online and by retail store comparison. I chose this model and have been tickled with its performance. 3D is not proven yet and people are complaining of headaches after viewing. This model is not 3D, yet has veirtually everything else the 3D model does.
The picture is crisp, and I must say, when watching a Blu-Ray disk, the picture surreal. I highly recommend purchasing this unit from a store that advertises online and allows store pickup. I bought this unit from a noted online seller and in comparison to retail stores, actually saved several hundred dollars. Its a 2011 unit and beats every other brand hands down from all the research I did for this type and size unit.

I purchased this set after a great deal of research and am very pleased with it overall. I had been considering only discrete backlight LED sets until I saw the 2010 version of this set with the edge lighting and found it more than satisfactory. The picture on the 46D6300 is excellent, especially with HD source material. With Blu-ray source material it is positively jaw-dropping. The blacks are inky and the colors are vibrant, among the best I have seen anywhere. The light weight (less than 40 lbs with stand) and low power consumption are frosting on the cake.
The only negative, and it is really minor, is that the set does not come with a qwerty remote, which is really needed to use the web browser. The on-screen entry with the standard remote is a 10 key multi-letter (like a cell phone) but with no predictive support, as most cell phones have, so text entry is very tedious. I hoped that the Samsung smart phone remote control app (which otherwise works well) would provide a popup keyboard capability, unfortunately it is the same 10 key entry as the basic remote.
That minor issue aside, overall it is a great set, and I'm very pleased with it.

Cons: no qwerty remote

Beautiful picture and easy to use Smart Hub

This is a great TV and inexpensive too. I Love the picture quality, its so much better than the regular LCD TV. Also the Smart Hub is awesome allowing you to check your apps while still watching TV on the PIP. The full web browser is awesome as well with the only draw back being the price for the dongle that is not included with the TV.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great picture and features

Purchased this tv a few days ago and have been very pleased with the picture quality and features. Menus are easy to follow and found it to be easy to connect other devices such as VCR and DVD player. TV was easy to install (using stand mount) for one person.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

this model is a great one , It has everything except a built in wifi connection, you have to pay extra for a smart link.
the picture and sound are perfect for the size of my room (12x14). probably will buy a d550 sound bar when the price comes down.
The built in browser is handy for quickly checking info , but it needs a better remote. I use my itouch with app to type words into the system

This is a awesome LED TV with bright vibrant picture. A sharp contrast-ratio. And smooth 120HZ 1080p picture. A smart TV with every app you could want. Samsung really did a knockout job with this TV. Blue Rays like so good you'd think the actors where in the room with you. Plus the Xbox 360 looks awesome on it as well. Don't have a second thought if this TV is in your price range buy it today you won't be disappointed with your purchase.
