The TV picture is outstanding! I am however extreemly disapointed in the streaming capabilities of this TV. We have a Samsung Blueray player that has no problems streaming (ex. YouTube) videos but is not worth while on the TV. Any video streaming to the TV hesitates and stalls.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, smarhub not worth the extra cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, great TV but I wish the web browser was a true browser though.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: web browser is not true browser

I have really enjoyed the picture quality on this television since the past few days I've had it. My only complaint's is the non built in wifi feature & web browser. The usb dongle's are outrageously overpriced for a device that simply connects to a wireless network. For the price of the unit itself I feel it should have been built in, but obviously it's a marketing ploy since most of the features require internet access. Also the web browser is quite glitchy & laggy. At times it would freeze up on me for quite long periods of time. Honestly they could have replaced that with built in wifi. Other than that I'm quite pleased with the unit.
Cons: no built in wifi, pretty useless web browser feature
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this TV in Nov. of 2010, and now, after the 12 month warranty is up, Feb 2012, the image is messing up. It's acting like it has a bad connection, but other TVs work just fine. Just my luck!
This TV is by far the best I have every seen or owned. When I first go the TV I thought something was wrong with the base because it would not swivel on it's axis. Come to find out that it was really stiff. I spoke with customer service and they attempted to help me out, but I still wasn't applying enough pressure to move it (I was afraid to break it), so they sent me a new base, lol. After I found out I was blatantly mistaken I called and informed them that I was wrong, and they just told me to keep that stand.
