Great picture but difficult to use

I bought the Smart TV with the recommended Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player for an Internet connection. Set-up was very difficult and time consuming (I didn't buy the optional keyboard/remote control) mostly due to the tedious process for entering codes. Plus initially all of the on-screen set-up instructions were in Croatian and it took me a long time just to get it switched to English. There is nothing intuitive about the setup of the Internet and apps and after several months I still don't access most of the features just because I haven't taken the time to learn how to use them. Even switching back and forth between watching cable TV and a DVD or a streaming video takes several steps and two different remotes and is just way too much of a hassle. However I do love the picture quality.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, difficult set-up & controls, multiple remotes required to control
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another Home Run for Samsung

This is my 6th Samsung, I typically don't buy the top of the line but I also don't buy the entry level. I've also have purchased two other Samsung HDTVs as gifts - that in itself is an example of a satisfied customer. This LED HDTV is great, I network my HDTVs and as you'd expect it worked perfectly. There are two brands that you can trust, Samsung and Apple - both bring a brand promise that puts others in second place.
Pros: leading edge technology
Cons: you need to buy a lanstick, i'd like to use my apple wireless keyboard to surf
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Smart TV is an excellent investment. The color, brightness, ease of operation when you want to change anything, is awesome. A space-saver, and looks great in my family room. I'm sold on Samsung Smart TV
