My airfloss quit working after 2 weeks of use. I like the concept but it doesn't seem to work. I am trying to decide if I spend all that money to try again. It is very expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AirFloss after Osseous Surgery

I would recommend this product with reservations. I floss and was hoping the it would solve the problem on my teeth in the lower from of my mouth. I have a bar there from orthodontia work. I was hoping the this would eliminate the need to thread and work a floss through that area. I feel that the AirFloss is better than not flossing at all. I have had osseous surgery and feel that the floss actually disturbs the bacteria below the gum line more effectively. I still use the AirFloss but not as often as when I first purchased it.
I started using the Philips Sonicare AirFlosser HX8111 six- months ago, just after having my teeth cleaned. This week, I had my follow-up 6-months check-up. The dental hygienist said the Philips Sonicare AirFlosser is working great because my teeth and gums look better than before. I will continue using the Philips Sonicare AirFlosser ..... it's much easier to use than the conventional string flossing and, most of all, it's nice getting excellent check-ups!
I owed 4 different Sonicare products including the new water pick. My wife, who is a dentist, was using traditional tooth bushes and a electric brush that was given to her from another company which she didn't like because of the small bush heads. I brought her a Sonicare and she really likes it.
