I prefer using the AirFloss over dental floss for at least 2 reasons: no more running to the store for more and the nasty strings in the garbage. It does help with the plaque.
Highly recommend this product. Teeth will sparkle and there will be no plax build up on your teeth. Gums were amazing so much so that my dentist asked me what are you using on you teeth? I love this product.
Seems to do a better job if you are older, have a little recession and gaps between your teeth. One has to use from the outside and then inside the mouth to do a good job. Some awkward angles when doing an inside row of teeth.
I like this product. I use it almost daily. much easier than flossing.

Only takes a minute a day to clean between your teeth and under any bridge work. Just one push to release air and water between each tooth. Much better than a constant flow of water that my previous one used.
Pros: will charge on same charger as my toothbrush
Everything about this item is great except for the size of the "well" for the liquid that you use. I find that if I don't fill it every day I don't get the liquid on my second day of use. I don't know if there's a way to keep the overall sleek design with a larger well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Others have written about the pluses and minuses. On the plus, it does remove food particles if used on a daily basis. Even wedged in items. It is easy to use and much quicker than dental floss; it quickly recharges. On the negatives: not stable to stand for storage; not meant for people with caps....I blew a small chunk of surface out of a rear capped tooth; product only comes with one nozzle and those suckers are expensive to replace or buy additional for multiple users; it does not say on the box there is only one nozzle in it and have only been able to find the nozzle on line for purchase (have not seen it in stores); I have had this for a few months and already hearing a hissing noise which indicates loosing pressure. I still like the product and sort of recommend. If I am truly loosing pressure and it lasts less than two years then I would not recommend.
This is an excellent way to improve your dental hygiene. I still floss but I like to use this afterwards. Use it with mouthwash to leave a fresh clean taste. Mine stopped working after 6 months, but Philips' customer service was great getting me a replacement. The only negative I have to say is that it took nearly a month to get the replacement. I sure missed it, but I won't go without this fine product!
Pros: improves dental hygient, excellent 2 year warranty
