I also own the water pik. the AirFloss is quicker to use. The water tank does not hold enough water. As wiith most Philips products the battery life is very good.
Pros: size and ease of use.
Cons: water tank needs to hold a little more water.
The spray doesn't really feel strong enough to replace flossing and it is very difficult to control at back teeth where it is hard to position perfectly between teeth. After a month of use, I still can't get thru one use without splatter on the mirror, and in the beginning it was splatter everywhere. The product data says it holds enough water or mouthwash for two uses, but actually needs a refill just to complete one use for all teeth inside and out. I find myself using it less and less because of the hastle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product is easy to use and gets to hard to reach areas
This product compliments the flossing process where larger gaps allow particles to stay after initial floss. The jet power is good but could be stronger. Very easy to set up and use.
Pros: ease of use
Cons: jet stream power could be stronger

I just love my air floss! It makes flossing so easy. I had to request a replacement handle after only 4 months so I do have questions about it's durability.
