So Much Better Than Floss

I have been using the Sonicare toothbrush for many years, but have never gotten my teeth to feel dentist clean for any length of time. I just bought the Airfloss and noticed an immediate improvement in how my teeth feel. Even after a nights sleep, my mouth and teeth feel clean, which is something I don't think I've ever experienced before. After the initial use, my gums felt tingly, which I realized actually felt great. And I don't have to worry about using an brush to get under my bridge. I really like it
Cons: can splatter if teeth are real close.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I began using this product I wasn't sure if I liked it. But I'd do, it was just different. I love how it cleans my gums and removes all the particles that my tooth brush missed. I very rarely flossed my teeth before and now I use this tool everyday. I recommend this product.

I LOVE this product!
I have an area that constantly gets inflamed (margin of a crown) and the Airfloss keeps it flushed out and I have not had one bit of recurring inflammation since I began using this product! I have a lot of patients who can benefit from this product just as I have. I will be recommending this to my patients with tight contacts and those who just hate to be bothered with traditional flossing! It does take some maneuvering to learn how to hold the Airfloss so that water does not run down your arm or face but it can be done. Also, using a little watered down mouth rinse can also help to freshen your breath and kill bacteria.
I am sure they will continue to improve the Airfloss just as they have with their toothbrushes. I agree with another post that a combo charging station with a sanitizer would be amazing, but if I had to guess I would say Sonicare is already working on this!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great idea but it does not hold a charge.

The air flosser is a great idea but it does not hold a charge. I had to have one replaced and a third one is supposed to be shipped to me.
I had the same problem with the first two. They worked very well for the first few months and then would not hold a charge long enough for even one flossing.

I also have a sonicare toothbrush and it is excellent. I have been using sonicare for over fifteen years. It is an excellent product. I would certainly recommend the toothbrush to anyone.

The company was fine to deal with regrading replacements, BUT, I'm on my third unit. The first one jammed up often during use, like misfires. The pump in the replacement unit would not prime and did not work at all, and the third replacement misfires and the gears grind and jam inside just like the first.
The water reservoir is a little too small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you have normal teeth and gums than the Air Flosser is not for you. Real floss is. You have to have spaces between your teeth for the Air Flosser to work.

I used this for About 6 months and then it stopped working

This product did broke after 6 months. For the price I would have thought it would last longer than 6 months. Very dissappointed.
Pros: portable
Cons: quit working after 6 months

I am a Dental Hygienist and bought 3 Sonicare Air-Flossers to give to people for Christmas. I am so sorry that I bought them.
The reservoir does not hold enough liquid to floss your entire mouth. I found that I had to re-fill it 3-4 times in order to floss my entire mouth. The pressure is not strong enough to rid the mouth of particles which are stuck . I have only used mine about 5 times (because it doesn't work) and now nothing comes out of it but air. I wish I had never wasted my hard-earned money on these Air Flossers. . Give me agood old Water Pik instead of an air flosser. I think I would go back to the drawing board and try something else. I love most Sonicare products and use my toothbrush regularly.

If you unit is only expelling air, I would contact Sonicare customer support directly @ 1-800-682-7664. Philips Sonicare carries a 2 year warranty.
