The air flosser is bulky and difficult to hold for someone with smaller hands. It is messy to fill. It could use some small improvements but is a great idea, overall.
Pros: good invention
Cons: needs to be re-worked to iron out the kinks..
The AirFloss design allows it to reach, hard to reach, areas; blasting away food debris. With the Sonicare toothbrush, I am assured that my teeth are the cleanest they can be.
Having flossed for so many years, it is hard to believe the AirFlosser will actually do as thorough a job but I'm willing to try until my next couple of dental appointments to see what my dentist finds. It is she who recommended using the AirFloss as I have sooooo many crowns and dental repairs.
This product is good at cleaning between my teeth. I do not like to floss so this does the flossing for me. The spray is a little too forceful at times particularly on the back side of my teeth. Also the holder for the water or rinse could be just a little easier to pour the liquid into.
I am a longtime user of the Sonicare toothbrush which I use two or three times daily. Therefore, when this product became available, I purchased it.
Flossing has always been high on my list as I am aware of the connection between dental health and overall heart health.
This product adds one more layer to the flossing regime. The Air Floss is very easy to use. My goal has always been to spend no more than 20 minutes at my dental cleaning appointment. This device should reduce that time, as well.
This takes a bit of getting used to - but is really a fun gadget for keeping your teeth super clean. We'll see what the dentist says in six months but I am planning on a good report.
Pros: quick and easy
Cons: must use hotter water to avoid sensitive areas
My wife and I decided to try this product as a flossing alternative. We generally use it twice a day and quickly became part of our daily routine. It makes your mouth feel fresher than just brushing. Not sure if it totally takes place of floss---may still need floss after corn on the cob :-)
Pros: makes mouth feel cleaner and fresher than brushing
I use the Airfloss every day and most days twice. I have had gum surgery and an implant so I take special care of my teeth and gums to avoid any future issues. I have been getting great reviews from my quarterly dental appointments. I am on my second Philips Sonicare Airfloss and would not be without it. Thanks for a great product!!
Pros: much better job than i ever did with dental floss., hated using dental floss/like airflosser
Cons: first one only lasted about a year., replacement tips hard to find/expensive to order.
