Flosser too vigorous

I regularly floss my teeth and thought I would incorporate this product into my routine to see if it could clean teeth more thoroughly and improve my gums even further. It has done nothing but cause my gums to bleed with every use. The force of the water which comes shooting through the flosser is too strong, in my opinion. I know it needs to have force to properly rid the teeth of bacteria but I don't think one's gums should bleed with each use. I tried using continously for weeks to see if it would improve and this did not help. I went back to normal flossing without having to bleed daily. Big waste of money since it is not cheap either!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

• Place the tip between teeth and apply gentle pressure.
• Press activation button to deliver a burst of air and water.
• Glide the guidance tip along the gum line until you feel it settle between the next two teeth.
• Press the activation button again and repeat for all spaces including behind your back teeth. Press power on/off button to turn power off after use.

The design can be changed so that it does not keep falling, the base needs to be wider.
Pros: compact
Cons: not durable

I'm 56, mouth of fillings, crowns, and crooked teeth. When I first got the airfloss and went to the hygienist she was impressed at how good I was doing with the flossing. She had never heard of this device but now can see the value. It's easy, painless and efficient. I have bought these as Christmas presents for my son, inlaws and others. All like this device. I won't argue the better method, I just know that for me, I'm most likely to floss regularly with my sonicare airfloss .
Pros: cheaper than floss over the years
Cons: seem to haved to hold tip in wasn't the design
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchase got to get between the teeth I forgot I forgot it to plug it in Sharjah protocol and it almost took on 14 hours to fully charge batteries in it it lithium battery no power oh I able to charge up a research proposal when the unit hair. Maybe sing on a store shelf for a long time you you should buy products if you see this some little power the battery itself I do highly recommend you buy the product make sure the battery fully charged before using it

Hi Sid, thanks for pointing this out. It's unfortunate to hear that you're experiencing these charging issues with your AirFloss. Keep in mind that we recommend to charge it for 24 hours straight upon first use. We also recommend to leave your AirFloss on the charger whenever you're not using it, since leaving your AirFloss on the charger won't damage it.
Whenever it is fully charged, your AirFloss should work for up to two weeks (assuming you use it once every day).

The Best!

I was told by my dentist that I needed a root planing deep cleaning! My teeth and gums were not in good shape. So one month before I had to go in I happen upon this "New Item" in a well known drugstore and decided to buy this air floss. To have a blast of of air and water push against my gums and in between my teeth was "different" I gave it two days and I was "hooked" I love this dental tool my teeth and gums have never felt better and cleaner.
I still had to have the root planing, but, the doctor ask how I manage to get my teeth clean so well..so I told him about this new dental tool and he was impressed, so he order some for his office. The one thing I am impress with,is, the least amount of water going into your mouth not like some high pressure hose. the handle fits nicely in your hand with the pump button large and placed in a comforting position. Sits nicely in the bathroom taking up little space and it has a nice "art deco" feeling to it. This is worth getting the price is nice so I brought one for my son and told family members to get this. Thanks again Philips for a cool product.
