The design is the key factor, you are able to reach back teeth with no problem. Secondly the option of using water or mouthwash is great. After using is for a couple of weeks I have notice and felt a change.
Pros: design is good
Cons: the charging base is light weight

I decided to try the air floss after buying a Sonicare tooth brush. Both items replaced other brands. Sonicare proved to be the better choice. The Air floss replaced a water pic. Air floss is easier to use and works great. I have limited counter space the air floss takes less space.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: a little expensive but worth it

Don't Use if You Have Crowns

I purchased this to add to my oral care regimen. My two front teeth are crowns, and this blew a space between my crowns. I now have a gap in my front teeth.
I have excellent gums and have my teeth cleaned every six months religiously. So this was not due to weak gums. The instructions said it was fine for crowns. Don't risk it. I do not recommend this product if you have crowns.
Pros: none
Cons: do not use this product if you have crowns!!!

Air Floss does remove particles of food that regular flossing can't reach.
I personally use regular flossing and then Air Floss with a mouth
wash.

I was really looking forward to enhancing my dental routine with this unique product. The first time I used it, I was surprised at how it worked. It seemed to really not have enough power to do anything as useful as flossing manually. But I figured once I got the hang of it, I would be happier with it. Two weeks later, it was still a disappointment. Given the cost of the product, I really had high expectations. My unit abruptly stopped working....just stopped. So I contacted customer service to find out about returning it.

Previously I was using a battery operated toothbrush and I like the rechargeable feature. The head seems to give me the right amount of pressure and stimulation on my gums.
