Great phone Decent OS

The best thing about this phone is you can browse your files on the computer and copy and paste single files. No more wasted hours while ITunes tries to sync everything under the sun and push all your stuff into "the cloud". All it needs is for Microsoft to allow us to fully customize the tiles and turn off the live tiles which are annoying.
Pros: Personal, Business, pictures & video

Great Phone...Understated Features

I have had this phone for a week and enjoy every bit of the nature of the phone. One item holding me back was the terrible memory features. 16 or 32 GB memory is terrible. Nokia and Microsoft have done a terrible job of discussing the micro SD card. The card can be used to store media as well as to save straight to the disk. I would have purchased at launch had ANY reviewer discussed the full access to the SD card. The fact that this is intuitive for windows 8 users is great!

By far my 1520 is the best smartphone I've ever owned.

My new Lumia 1520 is absolutely amazing! When I first picked it up at a local Windows store I knew it was the device for me. Its big for a phone yes this is true, but its feel and performance makes it hard to put down. I'm a techie and my devices have to function with my lifestyle....business and pleasure. My 1520 does everything I need it to and then some. Windows 8 is awesome and runs flawless along with the internal processor and 2GBs of speed. And OMG...can we talk about the 20MP camera? Flawless! All I can say is pick one up and play with it if you have a chance or if you know how you like your tech devices then just get a 1520 ASAP. You don't know what your missing or what your in store for....your gonna love it. WINDOWS FOR LIFE!

I think the pictures are great on this phone but I not like any thing else about it. I can't get the apps that I had with my IPHONE (candy crush!!) It takes time to make a call and if you don't have your ear right over the ear hole you can not hear at all. I can not download all the music that I paid for from my IPHONE.

Best smart phone I've ever owned.

I picked up this phone just over 2 weeks ago and I'm nothing short of impressed. I've only owned 3 smart phones, all of which were iphones up until my new windows phone. I'm extremely glad I made the switch. The 1520 is very light despite it's size but feels extremely sturdy. Design is simple and looks sleek while doing nothing but impress anyone who catches a glance of it.
Compared to other 1080p smart phones this display is by far better. I work at a computer store and the most commonly owned phone is the Samsung galaxy note 3, which also has the 1080p display, and we all agree the Nokia Lumia 1520 hands down is far more clear, bright, and with better contrast.
Not to mention fast! The snap dragon 800 2.2ghz may not be used to it's fullest potential yet on the windows phone 8 platform but every single application runs seamlessly and launches instantly. Even with having 1 gigabyte less RAM than the note 3 (2 gigs compared to 3) my coworkers and myself agree it runs noticeably faster.
At the moment I do not use battery saver and after a full charge I've been able to skip days to charge the phone and coming from my iphone 4s it's mind blowing. My old iphone would not make it through a 10 hour shift at work without needing to be charged.
The only negative thing I have to report is twice since getting the phone the display has had this very odd issue. Randomly after recently locking the phone while still on the lock screen it appears like a photo negative for a moment then going back to normal. After a recent windows phone update it hasn't happen again but it is worth noting. I've seen other reviews reporting this as well.
Also b/c of the size of the phone it is difficult to handle with one hand. I wanted a large phone, so this has had no affect on me personally. If you are on the fence about large phones in general make sure you actually handle this phone before purchasing it. It is one thing to read it has a 6 inch display... a whole totally different experience to actually hold this beast!
5/5 stars! I will never own anything but a windows phone going forward. Goodbye disappointing apple products!

By far the best phone I ever owned and believe me I had many. My last 10 years experience has been dominated with Android phones. I had enough Android. And yes this phone leaves you in the dust. Love it!!! And don't hesitate a minute to switch. Android may have one million apps but you only need 20 and the Nokia phone has all of them. The only app I am still struggling with is the google voice app for International calls. but I know there is one out there. Worst case I can use skype for that.

Just down right amazing!

I purchased this phone without really trying it first. I have seen all of the other competitor's phablets and they are quite ugly. I switched from a 920 to the 1520 and so I knew the Nokia quality and designs would make this a great phone. In short, this is just down right cool. I installed a 64GB micro SD, added the Nokia cover and I completely love the product. I know some have dinged Nokia for not including the wireless charging but with the long battery life I don't see this as a weakness.
