A "big" device.

Alot more refined than all Microsoft phones. Powerful and with a nice battery (4 days normal use, watching mp4's, YouTube, facebook and a couple of Bluetooth transfers.

Was great until all the hardware problems started.

Phone was great when I first bought it. Then the ghost double tapping started. Then the battery (had really long life at first) started shutting the phone off. Sent for repair but ended up being a bad power management IC chip and unable to repair. Loved the phone but discouraged about buying another windows phone after this.

The touch screen had problems two times.

I already replaced the display but still the touch is crazy. The keyboard is not working at all and is open a lot of windows without I touch for.

Still the Flagship after 3 years 8D

I've had the 1520 for 3 years now. I can't believe its lasted this long and stayed on top even among newer models like the Icon or its successors the 950 XL. Incredible. And its OS and storage expandability is surprising. I'm currently running Windows 10 Mobile (from Windows Insider) as well as storage expanded to 200GB with its MicroSD slot which its stats says it only supports up to 32GB. I have yet to test the wireless rechargeability. Its stats say its not able to but its stats also say it can only accept up to 32GB. I've dropped it a couple of times (never on the display or camera, just on its sides) from waist height. So its quite durable for a flagship and the case material is quite tough as you can barely notice the drop marks. Overall I've gotten my money's worth and more!
